Good old pep, still giving the same interview like he did in munich for three years. Is he going to be well and truly found out in the league? I read reports that Munich fans were pretty ambivalent towards him, and didn't shed any tears at his departure. The whole personality cult of him in this country is still based on his reputation from five plus years ago. Such is the backward island mentality of the UK. Well he didn't do as well as Heynckes the previous manager at Bayern.

Reading Liam's tweets are the same as what i felt like when i saw Mad Max: Fury Road and didn't have a clue what the fuck was going on.

She is Love is far worse. And even if it's not sung by Noel so is All in the mind.

Why the fuck did this abomination get anywhere near an Oasis album? Baffling. There are far worse songs on that album.

I wonder who tells Noel about Liam's twitter rants?

It caught my attention too, and a few years back I was lucky enough to put this question to producer Owen Morris.
Is the clip of Noel singing Morning Glory at the start of Acquiesce from a demo of that song, or was it specially recorded for Acquiesce?Owen Morris: "I gotta think about this. Noel played me acoustic versions of tunes like Morning Glory on the Some Might say/Acquiese session. But as far as I can remember, it was probably on a pass through the tape hone I was setting Noel up to either do his vocals or play tambourine.....and he would've sang/played that little snippet of Morning Glory as a cheeky reference, specifically to get fans like you asking about it in later years. We'd have listened back to it, laughed at it, and Noel would've said to leave it on." I'm not sure if Noel has ever spoken about this in an interview though. The snippet of Wonderwall on Hello is from when they were trying to record Noel playing acoustically on top of a wall outside Rockfield Studios. Noel spoke about this in an interview printed alongside Select magazine's original review of Morning Glory. Very nice thanx The ending of that Select article is gold : "MG is great album, just not as great as the last one" WTF I bet his colleagues printed that quote and mocked him for the last 20 years. He's right it's not.

The lyric video of It's Gettin' Better (Man!!) should be spelled with cocaine. Wouldn't surprise me if they ignored Be here now again

Out of interest which of Andy's songs do we know for sure could have been considered for Oasis albums but got vetoed? (I'm not so hot on who exactly wrote what in BDI). Gem: The Roller Wind Up Dream Standing On The Edge Of The Noise Three Ring Circus Flick Of The Finger (words with Andy) Second Bite Of The Apple Iz Rite Ballroom Figured Back After The Break Off At The Next Exit Andy: Four Letter Word Millionaire Kill For A Dream The Beat Goes On Flick Of The Finger (words with Gem) Face The Crowd Soon Come Tomorrow I'm Just Saying Dreaming Of Some Space Girls In Uniform Meh if Noel threw Andy under the bus for not including them mediocre song's to bang average one's then he made the right decision.

I put the interview in google translate and got this as well. 'As you'll see tonight, my songs, like "Lock All The Doors", "Everybody's On The Run", "The Death of You And Me" are themes as celebrated by the public as the Oasis.' I think Noel is (like many other old rock stars) disappearing up his own arse. And here comes Liam's white knight.

First reaction, "Wow! That's amazing. I hope that type of reaction spurs Noel onto playing Live Forever again." Second reaction, *The Mexican pops on* I fall out of my chair laughing. The Mexican is awesome live.

Not a fan of the lad, but he's spot on about Noel's album to be fair. It is very poor.

Logs in to Live4ever forum, sees a thread discussing a Liam song. Guess what. Same culprits slagging it to shit. Well with a username like yours you would say that

Seen as a lot of people moan about his setlists, which i like but could do with some variety from night to night what would people like to see him do? I'd go something like 1. Everybody's on The Run 2. Do the Damage 3. Dream on 4. Riverman 5. The Mexican 6. Falling Down 7. Digsy's Dinner 8. Ballad of the Mighty I 9. Aka Broken Arrow 10. You Know We Cant Go Back 11. Record Machine 12. The Importance of Being Idle 13. In the Heat of the Moment 14. Lock all the Doors 15. If I Had a Gun 16. The Death of You and Me 17. The Masterplan 18. AKA What a Life 19. Champagne Supernova 20. Dont Look Back in Anger That's pretty much the same songs he's been playing. I'd like to see: 1. Do The Damage 2. Everybody's On The Run 3. Riverman 4. Lock All The Doors 5. Rockin' Chair 6. You Know We Cant Go Back 7. In the Heat of the Moment 8. Champagne Supernova 9. If I Had a Gun 10. The Mexican 11. Freaky Teeth 12. The Dying Of The Light 13. Let's All Make Believe 14. Ballad Of The Mighty I 15. A Simple Game of Genius 16. The Death Of You And Me 17. Slide Away 18. AKA... What a Life 19. Don't Look Back In Anger 20. The Masterplan

Nirvana Unplugged is one of the best albums of all time. Oasis Unplugged is a load of dreadful shite.

It just doesn't fit on WTSMG tbh. Good tune though, makes you feel nostalgic. Surely it should be in place of Hey now or She's Electric.

Is it just me or does Noel seem really weird at this gig?
It's the most nervous i've seen him at a gig.
