First off, I need to emphasize that I despise Force of Nature. It is by far one of the worst songs on Heathen Chemistry. I'm listening to it now (my ears be damned), and it sounds way too soft. Why did Noel want to sing this one in the first place? Is there any logic to that? It needs edge. And urgency. And a fucking point. It lacks all three. I can't help but wonder if Liam singing it would address those issues. Don't get me wrong, the song would still suck - but perhaps marginally less. People bang on about Noel singing Magic Pie is a disappointment (mainly citing DLBIA as being a previous comparative success). And I admit, I'm bias as I love Magic Pie. Like it's fucking awesome. Fuck the haters. But Force of Nature is by far the worst Noel sung song of all time. It commits Crimes Against Oasis' Humanity by just being in existence. Terrible song.

I think the only reason Noel sang it was because it's really out of Liams range circa 2002. Liam could probably barely have sung it in 94. Although I honestly quite like Force of Nature, it's way better than all of the songs on the second half of the album.

She is Love is far worse. And even if it's not sung by Noel so is All in the mind.

There are far worse Noel-sung Oasis songs than Force of Nature.

Pisses me off when Noel says it was out of Liam's key.
Any half decent musician knows you can change the key of a song by A. Downtuning your guitar B. Using a Capo C. Rearranging the chord sequence.
Noel can't even claim that he couldn't be arsed to do the above as he wanted it as the first single originally.
Winds me the fuck up.
And I personally really like Force of Nature and it would have benifitted greatly from Liam's Vocals.

I completely agree with the hate, that song makes me so mad, I almost deleted it completely off my HDD a couple of times. Nothing could fix that shit, it's fucking horrendous. I just tried to listen to it, but couldn't stand it for longer than 10 seconds, luckily shuffle was generous so I'm cleansing now with the Minnow Valley version of Bring It On Down, God bless. I actually like the way Noel sounds on the track, he sounds pretty badass, which is refreshing because he usually sounds meek and emotional. I even like the melody (or lack thereof) of the song. But when you put it all together, it's just so, idk, incompatible. Like when you make a Sunday meal out of shit you got left over from the rest of the weekend it tastes exactly like that, like week old shit.
Would the song benefit from Liam's voice? Probably, if the song was worth any kind of benefit. Honestly Liam is the one who benefited from not having to sing that horror.

Save it for the HC reissue in 2022.

I think Beady doth protest too much.
Saw him secretly head banging to "Force of Nature" and shouting "FOR BURNING ALL MY CASH" out of his window once.

I may get crucified for this, but I think BOADC is really awful. It's just boring and doesn't go anywhere. It could be cool and atmospheric if the production was good, but it's just boring, at least in my opinion.

Oasis were shite around that time and Noels attitude was abysmal. How he could sit down and listen to that song and think its acceptable is baffling. Most probably because Yes-Man Gem probably told him its better than The Beatles.

heathen chemistry is like hearing the wheels come off of a once amazing sports car, the cage is like the last sounds of the engine after it wouldn't start for half an hour.
