I will be very interested to see how much this album sells compare to Noels. Liam seems to be riding some momentum at the moment and has put his name back out there big time. The most popular he's been since Oasis. I think it will sell more than Noels.  |

Yeah i still think it's a mistake him playing so many songs from his album. Where as we know nothing about any of the songs from Noel's album. It's different artists. Noel is established solo now, he doesn't need to preview his records. Liam is a "new" artist, he's gotta put his balls on the table. That would have been a huge mistake to do all those festivals and play 90% of Oasis songs. 5 or 6 are already more than enough. Even a bit too much. On a side note, when can we expect a leak ? How long before releases records leak these days ? Nah i totally disagree about playing too many new songs at a festival. |

As fantastic as it has been listening to LG's new songs in concert, it's a bit sad that we are familiar with 90% of the album well over a month before it comes out. Maybe only the singles, Greedy Soul, Bold and Universal Gleam or I Get By or You Better Run should've had plenty of concert time... the album isn't gonna be too much of a surprise. On the other hand, at least I already know I will love it immensely... Yeah i still think it's a mistake him playing so many songs from his album. Where as we know nothing about any of the songs from Noel's album. |

Not sure what peoples issue is. This is clearly THE video for what it's worth and nothing else. It is by no means a live performance. There are about 10 different camera views throughout the video and yet miraculously no cameras in sight from any view. This is a music video, it looks good and sounds good, enjoy it. I'm sure the live recordings from the day will appear on TV late September.... I think it's the fact that they put live in the title. |

Counterpoint: You're wrong. Proof: Yeah in 1995 when it was still worth doing. From 2000 onwards there were no point and even less of a point if he does it on a solo tour. I'd cringe if that were the case, shake my head in disbelief. I also think there has not been a good live version from Oasis of I Am The Warlus since 95/96..it's truely a boring song when they did it live later on and always a shame when they could have done one of their own songs and it would be the same feeling if Liam did it on his solo tour when he has an entire Oasis and even Beady Eye back catalogue to go back to I love this version: |

I doubt we'll get a new single by Noel this year. Maybe he'll perform some new stuff in concert. I think that's impossible if his album is out in November. |

start anew, four letter word, man of misery, and recently bold you might disagree but i really do think those 4 are masterpieces, if any other artist wrote them i wouldve been all over it as much Umm... agree to disagree. Can't really say anything about Bold yet, but the other three tracks would not even make my top 50 all-time Oasis related tracks. Never mind all music. Yeah i get music is subjective but to me the likes of Live Forever, The Masterplan, Slide Away etc are masterpieces. Them 4 songs are decent album tracks. |

Thought Liam sounded very good on DOYS. As for the song, I think its quite good, I hadn't taken any of the hype regardless of what hysterical radio presenters said. Liam's vocal is great and and I like that some of the instrumentation is quite understated, I don't feel like it tries to hard which can often be the mistake made with these sort of songs. Putting it with what else I've heard so far not only am I convinced it won't be a disaster but I think it will probably be quite good. Yeah Liam vocals are great and really make the song far better than it would be with any other singer. |
