Thought this would be interesting, LBL seems to be one of the most polarizing oasis songs amongst fans, personally I think its top.

As is, 5.5/10. With a more DANGEROUS arrangement and production (maybe a Liam vocal too), could have been a monster of a tune. I'm picturing loud walls of sound in the chorus.
Can't remember the last time I listened to it, in all honesty.

I've always liked it. You're right though, it gets it's fair share of hate round here. People tend to say it's Noel reaching for another Don't Look Back In Anger type hit, it's not as good obviously but that shouldn't take away from it's charm. It was very popular back in '02/'03 when released.

Strangely it's a song I've always hated but mellowed a bit on it now. Always thought it sounded much better live, the production is so weedy on the album.

It is not bad, just ok-ish, the problem was that it was Noel trying to do another DLBIA, unlike TIOBI which was something totally different, new and refreshing, same for Falling Dawn.

Always hated it. Verses are boring AF and the chorus sounds like Bon Jovi (or even a boyband). Not for me.

After the relative disappointment of SOTSOG (when Oasis went from a band that delivered end-to-end listenable albums to a band that produced a handful of quality tunes surrounded by generic filler, like most of their peers), I sorta lost touch with the band for a while. At the time, I was living in a country with shit internet and hardly any music press, so I had no idea what they were doing most of the time. From time to time I'd check out what they were putting out via filesharing sites, and one night I ran into both Little by Little and Idler's Dream, and remembered what a songwriting genius Noel Gallagher really is. I've always been surprised it's not better regarded by fans. Easily one of my favorite Oasis tracks.

Bores me quite a bit, chorus tries to be Don't Look Back In Anger but fails and misses the target massively with it. Works in the basis of the album but on playlists or even Time Flies, feels poor and out of place

For me it's a 3/5. I like it, not bad not great. I enjoyed it a lot more when it came out because I was younger and it felt like a return to form after SOTSOG which I only started to appreciate as I got older.
