The best song Liam has ever written? Even has a good chorus.

Great song, I'm just listening to it now and I haven't felt this good since Archie Gemmill scored against Holland in 1978.

Wish it didn't have that stupid unrelated Lennon quote at the end of it. Like they needed that to be compared to the Beatles and Lennon...

This song is so good, even to this day it's hard for me to believe it was written by Liam.

It´s the best song on DOYS in my opinion, which speaks volumes of how shit Noel´s writing had become by then. Thank god he recovered once he went solo.

Bag it Up, The Turning, Waiting for the Rapture, The Shock of the Lightning, Falling Down? Noel was on fire for DOYS. That doesn't include the songs that we know he was writing at the time. IOT might be the best song on DOYS, but that doesn't mean Noel's writing was "shit."

Yes, WTSMG, BHN, and DM have another level of songs, but that doesn't mean the songs from DOYS aren't good or good songwriting.

The best song Liam has ever written? Even has a good chorus. I'll go with Songbird. Marry me, Lennon2217, you never have to be alone. We love Noely and that's all we ever known. But we're not living in shitty NJ. Good tidings x.

Yes, WTSMG, BHN, and DM have another level of songs, but that doesn't mean the songs from DOYS aren't good or good songwriting. I'm Outta Time would have at least been good enough for SOTSOG or HC. DOYS sounds by and large like a Beady Eye album: A lot of interesting ideas that ultimately go nowhere. All the hallmarks of Noel's lean period are there: Long, repetitive intros, drum loops that say nothing, "groove" songs that just drone on forever, and a severe lack of hooks. Plus LAG didn't help with most of their contributions. I'll be the first to admit I'm heavily biased against the album, don't take me 100% seriously. But we're talking about one of the best songwriters of the last 50 years, and he and his band gave us an album that sounds like a decent bar band teamed up with a professional producer.

The Lennon dialogue sounds tacky in 2017. Sounded tacky in 2008 if I'm being honest.

One of Liam masterpieces. What other tunes by Liam are classics exactly? Assuming this is one.

Can't really say anything about Bold yet, but the other three tracks would not even make my top 50 all-time Oasis related tracks. Never mind all music.

Never really liked this one. A bit like Let There Be Love they over-Beatlesed it.

On topic: Never really got this song. As previously mentioned the Lennon sample does it no favours and something about that melody just irks me, don't know why.

I can't choose what is the best song, but my favorites are I'm Outta Time, Songbird, Soldier On, Pass Me Down The Wine, Bold and Greedy Soul.
