And finally we have a pro-shot video of the electric version of Listen Up. It's a shame that the mix is crap and you can't hear Noel's guitar at all. Oh well, I'm never happy Maybe its the mix, but what terrible drumming...

Chasing Yesterday is a step down from NGHFB 1, let's be honest. It's a good record, but the singles are shit and the record is a bunch of tracks that don't belong with each other. Noel needs to do two records : one fully acoustic and one fully electric, but very raw, not overproduced. I disagree. I never listen to any of the tracks on NGHFB anymore. The sound overall is a disappointment that doesn't elevate any of the material. I think overall the quality is pretty similar, but DOTL and WTSRTS and YNWCGB dwarf anything on the first album.

I'd just clear your browser's cookies and cache. That would probably fix any problems...

The only hope (if you want to call it that) the Republicans have is in Hillary vs. Trump. i have to disagree. i think hillary would beat trump and it wouldn't even be close. trump is a smart guy. it's too bad that instead of sticking to the issues he instead resorts to the name calling, the childish insults and the pure HATE he spews every time he opens his mouth. i've heard him speak the most out of any candidate by far and i still don't know where he stands on many of the issues and he also hasn't told me HOW he intends to 'make america great again'. i don't like hillary at all so... today i voted for bernie. That's because he doesn't know anything about the issues at all. He spews hate and blame, and some people are apparently eating it up...

It sounded very slow. And not in a good way, but this renewed version of DYKWIM sounded a bit tired, as if it was lacking something. There's nothing wrong with changing a song around a bit, but there is when it ruins the song or when the singer (still) can't sing it, like I just said. I think it was an attempt to bring it in to line with the SOTSOG sound, much like when they started doing electric versions of wonderwall and cast no shadow etc on the BHN tour, just so it feels like part of set, sounds to me like they tried to make DYKWIM more atmospheric by slowing it down etc. either Noel or Liam or both clearly liked the song though because they brought it back in 02 with the key lowered, would be interesting if it was Noel who pushed to have it back in the set considering his opinion on BHN. Well Noel did say that DYKWIM was supposed to be on Stop the Clocks before deciding it ruined the flow, even though the whole compilation isn't long enough, so he can't hate it THAT much...

What a joke. Is it so hard to just upload some unreleased live footage once in a while rather than a fucking needless lyrics video. I really can not believe how lazy they are. I've never ever understood what the idea is behind a lyric video. Especially from a band who doesn't exist for almost 7 years. It's prolly so there's an official video that they can make money from, then claim copyright on all the videos currently up. Its not like these take very much effort...

you don't really believe this is going to happen, do you? I'm not necessarily thinking that the political climate would let it happen. Or that what he's saying would 100% work. But he does have explanations for how he's going to do everything. So that is not a flaw that he has

Honestly, although I do agree that Nirvana gave a good performance, and Where Did You Sleep Last Night is wonderful, I just never liked the songs that much, not being a Nirvana fan. That pushes the Oasis Unplugged in front for me IMO

Its not even that he wins everything its more the way he wins. Federer dominated but I loved watching him. Such a graceful player. Djokovic is like the ultimate pong machine. The only thing he hasn't won is the French, but I imagine that'll change this year. Federer has such a natural, effortless way of playing but during his peak, had Nadal to contend with which made that period a pleasure to watch. Djokstrap, on the other hand, seems to be in another league to everyone else and is rarely beaten by a better player. He seems a really nice bloke off-court, but on-court he comes across and expectant and arrogant, which doesn't make watching him any pleasure at all. I always thought that Federer was the one that seemed arrogant on court. I love watching Djokovic right now, he's eliminated all flaws in his game and is playing at a higher level than anyone in history IMO(altho you can't really compare eras due to court and technology changes).

Back injuries are common in tennis, yes. Can make it impossible to continue. Speaking from experience. Didn't see the injury tho. She got a point then felt a twinge in her back, had to retire rather than lose heavily I would say that in both the ATP and the WTA there's a trend where already injured players don't withdraw from tournaments in order to get the substantial purse that even a first round loser gets. So that, she actually got injured(didn't see), or didn't want to lose. Either way, sucks for the sport.

What do you think of the new single? Didn't know they had a new song out I used to listen to them a lot in the early 2000s but I lost track of them a few years ago. I'm checking spotify now... edit: 3 Miles High is ok. Everything at Once is dire That's kinda what I thought. Still looking forward to them touring tho. I saw them last time, and it was one of the better shows I've seen

"Due to the injuries Noel sustained in the incident at the Virgin Festival, four concerts were postponed, including the 9 September show in London, Ontario,[5] and the first three shows of the European leg.[6] In addition, the 12 September concert in New York was cancelled" Not saying they were suddenly gonna get to WTSMG? levels or anything, but I think that the Dig Out Your Soul in the Streets campaign had given them some credibility, and momentum, and that was just halted. Plus like I said, I'm pretty sure the Terminal 5 concert was supposed to be one to give them television exposure. For some reason, they didn't do any US television appearances like normal(Letterman/Leno or whatever) If I remember correctly, Noel in his lawsuit against the guy who attacked him, said something to that effect and how he thought it had ruined a lot of the tours momentum. Terminal 5 altered nothing for US success. It would have been the same regardless. Come to think of it, I don't remember Oasis doing any Leno or Letterman post 2000. Once HC and DBTT rolled around they did very little US television appearances. And then both Beady Eye and Noel did Letterman appearances on their next tours. I don't get it.

Whatever success they had in the US during their whole career was practically despite their best efforts otherwise. Something always went wrong.

Wish that Toronto incident wouldn't have happened. Noel wasn't the same after that, and the tension increased. Also, weren't they supposed to do a proshot gig in America around that time in NY? I think cancelling the tour hurt them How many gigs did they actually have to cancel? Just the one in NYC right? That wasn't gonna make or break them in America. Love Cast No Shadow, but as others have said, to repetitive. Because of this it feels to long to me when I'm listening to it. Great vocals and instrumentals tho, and love when they played it live...

Jaws, Superman, ET, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Star Wars. Those movies aren't the same without his scores. Every single one of them I can hum off the top of my head. I can't imagine those movies with anyone else's work. Don't forget Schindlers List and Saving Private Ryan. And Lincoln as well
