What we all forgot is, that Oasis were quite "boring" regarding setlist. Think about their last DOYS tour, they only played "My Big Mouth" a couple of times and I remember Liam said "We don't like to change" at a gig. Both brothers don't like to change, so we can all blame their mum. Have a nice Sunday everyone.

This isn't something that happened just with Noel's solo work, they've been like that for years, for whatever reason. I'm not too familiar with Beady Eye's gigs, but I do wonder if they were like that as well?

I can understand people complaining about setlist, but some bands change and some don't and that's the way it is. I'm a huge The Jam/Weller fan and Weller loves to change his setlist. If he playes 3 nights overhere, his setlist is different every night. But let's face it. Most of us only go to see Noel once or maybe twice on the same tour, so I don't see the point to debating about setlist over and over.

Most of us only go to see Noel once or maybe twice on the same tour, so I don't see the point to debating about setlist over and over. The first tour beady eye literally played every single song they had recorded (then added in wig wam, world outside my room and in a bubble) So while their set list was the same can't really vary when you play everything you got. They then added in 2 oasis songs (let's not go there) for the stone roses gig Tour 2 they played 10 songs of new album, 2 oasis covers that did vary, 4 tracks from album one and a different cover to close. So at least tour to tour was different and the few gigs they did tour 2 was pushing their new album and not older material. Obv not changing gig to gig is frustrating but not changing tour to tour or leg to leg is what is really bad when noel has access to probably nearing 200 songs?

Is Noel's act becoming lazy? ... I'd say yes. Maybe it's because I'm getting old but I'm nowhere near as excited about hearing or seeing gigs as I used to be. I'd always go see them if they were in Ireland and catch gigs if they're streamed or played on the radio or tv but now I just couldn't be bothered. I watched some of a recent gig of Noel's on YouTube... same old, same old. But that's just the gigs though, I'm really looking forward to the new album.

I've watched a bit of the last gigs to hear Listen Up but I never jump to it. I'm a lot more interested when he does pure acoustic gigs. Whatever people say, it's where he is the best.

His audience will obviously begin to dwindle soon. It's unfeasible that a man of his age doing that kind of act can keep people interested. I'd say about 75% of the ticket sales are people thinking they're essentially going to see Oasis.

It's like your drug dealer, he knows you're gonna wait for him 'til he gets there.
Crackheads.
