Vote and tell us what you think of it. I know there already is another thread that's very active, but I did the exact same polls with the exact same questions for "In the Heath of the Moment" and "Second Bite of the Apple", so I'm curious how they compare.
Thought it wash great on first listen, but I believed it lacked something, a proper hook, a catchy chorus. Boy was I wrong. The second time I heard it something clicked, I started smiling when I heard the chorus -there is one- and can't stop listening to it now.

I can't vote because I'am on mobile but I like it. If you don't feel it play it loud!!! Its not a song you listen to on low. By far the best release from Chasing Yesterday thus far.
I do not think BOTMI will chart well and its not going to be a classic but is a good solid song. Then again, who gives a fuck? I like it, thats all that matters!

Probably one of my favorite tracks from Noel's solo career. Great stuff. Innovative and creative.

If this is the last song on the album I can't wait to hear the rest! I really like the video too.

Anyway, whoever is voting "Crap" in the poll will deserve the punishment of hearing The Good Rebel 24 hours a day non-stop, from now until March 2nd. There's your chorus and your poor dad-rock plodding stuff

I really dont like it..at all.
In the heat of the moment was ok. Very poor start imo..I prefer Beady eye's stuff compared to this so far.
This is coming from someone who loves noel's work, especially if I had a gun, fallen angel broken arrow and the death of you and me

I'm starting to think this is better than Everybody's on the Run. Lyrics here are so great, I'm really fascinated.

When I had a listen to it at first, it hit me right at the second chorus. I can't imagine what the next two or three listens are gonna be like, but I'm excited for it, and excited to hear the album. Really good song, overall, with quite a solid vocal performance by Noel to let the even more solid instrumentation shine brighter.

It's actually similar to my reaction of Flick of the Finger. Thought BE was a let down in that they reverted to type on a few of the songs, but that first track was stunning.
It wasn't Oasis - it was different. I love Flick of the Finger, and I absolutely love this tune. Both Gallagher's somewhat lost their swagger trying to repeat the same formula which was so great but regain it with something different from the Oasis forumula, but its not simply because they are 'different' from Oasis that I like it, it just proves how greatness is versatile in many things. A great singer like Liam can elevate tunes like Flick of the Finger like no other and only his voice could compete with that wall-of-brass, while a truly great songwriter like Noel will have the ability to showcase his talents in different ways.
So, yeah, a great great song. Love it.

I'm voting "amazing, brillant" for now - this song was ridiculously hyped before the release, and I still was impressed, still am. As much as I loved HFB, another album in the same style would have been underwhelming. Instead, it sounds fresh, energetic, exciting...the FOTF comparison is pretty spot on.

LOVE IT.

I wouldn't say I was let down - mostly because I didn't have high expectations, since Noel had said it was a bit disco and that's not my taste, not even WAL which is one of my least favorite tracks from HFB.
I'm gonna vote okay for now.
I like the fact that it's a bit unorthodoxed, i also like the strings and I think Noel's vocal is great. I just miss a big chorus, because it feels like it's building up to something but it never gets there. And I found it a bit repetitive. But the lyrics are great. Anyway, for now I think it's ok/good.
But you never know. I remember the first time I heard Flick of the Finger and Falling Down. I was somehow let down by those tracks, but now they're between my favorite gallagher tracks ever.
I do hope the album is better, though. None of the singles had a big impact for me as, say, Death of You and Me, which I thought was brilliant on first listen. We'll see.

Anyone who thinks beady eye's work is better then this song is clearly deaf. Best song he's done easily and shits all over do the damage and heat of the moment.

Well, I'm just really impressed. I think someone described it as a mix of AKA WAL and Falling Down and I'd agree with that. It's got a darker (minor chords?) vibe, its got some unexpected shifts, and sounds on it. As Noel says "follow you down", you feel like the song is a mysterious trail you are following him down.
ITHOTM was okay, wasn't nearly as excited as I should have been for a comeback single. DTD was better as a song but I can see why ITHOTM was the A-side. This song (BOTMI) has got me very, very excited for Noels new album.
The video's great too! I love how they took the piss out of Noel's distaste for videos ("a bit more energy in your eyes" the guy clearly did his homework) and made something interesting but not pompous or silly. Best "Oasis" video since TSOTL in my opinon. Even with the red pants.
