subtly powerful choruses and solo, the vocals are on a different stratosphere in my opinion. the "I will find youuu" with the raised vox at the end of the 'you' are brilliantly done.

Not a fan of this side of Noel. I appreciate his attempt to do something new, and I totally understand why some of you love it, but it's just not my taste in music. To me it's kind of repitititve and is missing something. By no means is it bad, and I'm sure I'll listen to it from time to time, but it won't be a tune I come back to by itself. Compared to what we've heard so far, my favorite is Do the Damage. Really, Noel, a friggin bonus track you whore!?

The Roller was originally an oasis song the revisited so technically it doesn't count and either way this is still a better song imo and the best one hes done as a solo artist. This has a worldly sound and truly has the potential to be a hit if the marketing is done properly. Very melodic, catchy and has heart.

Overall, it's great! It's something new for Noel (which is good considering that he stuck to the same formula for over a decade), and it's not a pop song in the same way that ITHOTM is, nor is it a rock-out song like DTD. That doesn't make it any less good though! One of the first things I thought when I heard this song was that it sounded a bit like New Order. However, it had a twist to it that was distinctly Noel. The touches by Johnny Marr are amazing, as is the bassline. The entire song feels like it's building to something huge, to a grand finale to finish the album. However, at the same time, it doesn't feel like a "last song" in the same way Champagne Supernova and Stop the Clocks do. But we may need to hear it in its context in the album to be able to make a real judgement.

I know people ate going to hate me for saying this, but Dave Sardy could have added something to this song in the same way he did WAL. BOTMI may sound a bit like New Order, but it could have used some more aggressive drums like on nearly all NO songs, and even on WAL. Or maybe it's a good thing that the drums are off so it won't sound too much like another artist.

This reeks of a man going through a midlife crisis. Not digging his new dance direction at all. If I wanted to listen to dance music I'd go and listen to fucking dance music.
Noel should stick to what he knows. 60-70s British rock. THAT'S IT.

I also think he's going into midlife crisis. And when that's the case, you tend to go back to your childhood days, mentally. So the late 70s/80s for Noel.
Poor effort from Gallagher senior, and i never thought i'd say that. Noel's always had pretty bad tastes in music, but he never translated it in his own music. Now he has. And it sounds shit. The melody is ok, but the production is really, really bad.
People were accusing him of dad rocking, now he's dad discoing with a pinch of 80s ugly keyboards and guitars. This isn't even good disco, ala Kool and the Gang. It's a poor attempt to try and reproduce What a Life, which was a good song.
WTF Noel. What next, a nod to Wham ?

Don't like the fact Noel is turning into this The song itself isn' t that bad but no better then average. Was hoping for more... Agree with what someone said when the guitar comes on @ 1:00 the sound is cringeworthy the only positive thing and what it made it up to me were the "Liam/Noel" & Chris martin comment, other than that this is worse than most of the BE well Noel is a victim of his own brilliance as he one said, because we all know he can do better much better

It needs a chorus that soars...because the song builds to a point where it feels expected. Yes, Noel wrote and produced it the way he wanted it to be, and I love everything about the song (great chord changes, production) but it needs a damn chorus. Had this been on one of the first two albums, when it actually mattered, you can be damn sure the song would not have stayed so flat-lined melodically. Noel is so cautious to not write songs that have that flag-waving soaring feeling, but this is a song that doesn't reach it's potential.
I'm a huge Oasis fan, but I don't define myself by being a slobbering, dedicated, unapologetic fan to Noel gallagher. The song is clearly missing a hook. It could have been fucking incredible.

Utterly amazing and perhaps the best song Noel has penned since TIOBI (although TDOYAM is a serious contender for that title). Time will tell.
If I ever built a time machine, I would first gather the madferit crowd, who I suspect are voting 'crap' in this poll, and take them to 1996 England where they can all roam happily and discuss their Pretty Green parkas, leaving the rest of us alone. Then I would do something slightly more beneficial for manking, like killing Hitler or something.

I am OBSESSED with this song...and it's been on repeat for over 24 hours.... definitely didn't react this way to any of Noel's solo work (even though I love it) since Alone on the Rope.

Kind of funny that some people still feel the need to compare this to BE. Not really seeing that connection
I really liked it. Something about the structure is very interesting to me...I bet Noel was very much into "The Next Day" when making some of these songs as they sound very eclectic.
Or maybe the Bee Gees (?)

It's not that far off from Noel's usual stuff, a catchy pop song with some disco vibes, but nowhere near dance music. It's not like Noel is suddenly doing minimal electro, he's experimenting a little but that's it.

On first listen, I'm pretty underwhelmed. That said, some of my favorite songs underwhelmed me on first listen, so there you go.

It's just okay I think. Where's the hook? It's kinda boring isn't it? How the fuck someone could think it's amazing is beyond me! Some people need to get their nose out of Noel's ass!

I support anything Noel does as long as it sounds good.
Okay, maybe not if he went into country or rap, because I generally hate both.

Maybe because someone isn't expecting another Supersonic/DLBIA every time a new Gallagher song is coming out, and isn't still stuck in the '90s (or worse, the '60s). Or maybe because someone has broader musical tastes and can appreciate influences and sounds coming from other genres. Honestly, I don't know. What I know for sure is that people have different tastes and they should learn to respect opinions

Voted "Really good!". I am surprised how different is this song from his previous works. I like the fact he is moving forward and experiment, though, I am not crazy about this song. Maybe I will after more listening, it happens sometimes:)
