DBTT is the album I listen to the least of any of them. Almost all the songs are meh to me. I like Let There be Love, POTQ and TUTS and am alright with Lyla and GGTIA. The rest are nothing special to me, and Mucky Fingers is my least favorite song in the Oasis catalog. It's an instant skip every time.

Personally, I thought this performance was nothing special. I almost never listen to the audio from Time Flies because the vocals are just not very good...

That could possibly and will probably change once the last three albums are reissued, as we know that Liam was writing and demoing like crazy post-2000. Are they going to reissue the last few albums as well? I thought only the first three albums were part of this series? No, I seriously doubt that they would reissue the last 4. They weren't popular enough and it's not like they are that old...

I think if they would've done that they would have definitely been more popular(at least to the general public because of brand recognition). I also wouldn't have had as much a problem with them playing Oasis songs. Once they decided to be something completely different(with the same name) they should've kept using just their new material imo. But in the end, for people like me, who would end up listening to what they put out regardless, I don't think it impacted the actual songs they released at all, so it doesn't really matter.

Finally a Grand Slam final without Federer/Nadal or Djokovic. This is the first one since the beginning of 2005, and it was about time for a new look final...

None of them. I didn't like the way his pronunciation changed along with his voice. He could still give an amazing performance, but I always end up thinking what it could have sounded like with his 90s voice

I found out that the lyric for Don't Look Back in Anger was "if it's night or day" as opposed to "not our day" and I sometimes I feel as if that completely changes the meaning for me...

I have a hard time remembering: Is the iTunes gig the last ever completed Oasis concert? I have yet to hear an Oasis performance where they've nailed Slide Away. In the early days, Liam's voice was fantastic, but the band weren't technically good musicians, while the reverse is true with Oasis in their latter years (fantastic musically, not as great vocally). I hate angry Liam, but he did do a decent job on the night - when he did decide to perform. The performance of Champagne Supernova from that gig is the best he's sounded in almost a decade. It was that good (video below). I do wish we knew the entire story of the entire tour. It all got off to a bad start with Noel dropping good songs off of DOYS because of Liam getting married, then we had the Pretty Green bullshit, Noel was attacked on stage, Noel mentioned he wanted a 5 year break (which angered Liam), etc. I've always wondered if Liam knew Oasis was breaking up prior to this iTunes gig. I know their cancellation of their last gig was due to what happened on that night (smashed guitars, plums, etc) but I do wonder if the decision was made before then? All the signs were there..... Anyway, this is fucking brilliant: Other then Gems guitar being too loud...

Do we want this song of the next High Flying Birds album or do we want 11 or 12 unheard of material? I mean the song is very very old at this point. Part of me would rather have newer, fresher songs. Thoughts? Well, none of these songs were supposed to be heard yet, or have been by the masses. I think we just happen to be spoiled by internet leaks. Can't he just release everything...

I love it, Stand By Me is one of the best singles IMO. andddd perfect thread for me to ask this lol, is it "as I SAW on the breeze" or "as I SOAR on the breeze"?? I always thought saw but then it finally hit me it might be soar and that makes more sense I think it's "saw" or at least that's what I've always heard...
