Recently I've started listening to The Who, mainly stretching from listening to Oasis' cover of My Generation making me want to explore.
Just wondering what people's opinions are on The Who and what are there favourite songs! I have to say one of my favourites has to be Pinball Wizard.

I'm not a fan of Tommy, but for "Quadrophenia". Saw them finally last year on their "Quadrophenia" tour.
My favourite The Who songs are:
Won't Get Fooled Again So Sad About Us (The Jam has done a great cover of it) The Real Me Love, Reign O'er Me I Can't Explain Substitute (ever has been covered by Sex Pistols) Behind Blue Eye The Kids Are Alright

Pretty much every song on their Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy compilation. It's got all their singles from the 60s.
'Who's Next' from 1971 is also very, very good. Production sounds a bit dated in parts, but overall a must listen album.
The Who Live at Leeds 1969, the full version not the 6 song release, is my favourite live album of all time.

nice one, Elias. but this is the ultimate version of the ultimate Who song. RNR Circus, if you havent watched the whole thing yet, you're clearly missing something.
vid/sound is not very good, but youtube keeps shutting it down whenever it appears.
edit, here you go, better version :

One of the best rock n roll bands of all time. From a musician standpoint each one of them are are up there in their respective categories. Their rhythm section is just one of a kind. The Bonham/Jones duo is perhaps the most fundamental sound and rock solid rhythm section in classic rock but the Entwistle/Moon combo just bursts with creativity and rampage like no other. Fierce, tight, and very expressive.
Top Songs Can't Explain My Generation I Can See For Miles Bargain Won't Get Fooled Again The Real Me Eminence Front
