that man, probably the day the photo was taken, saved Oasis singing at MTV unplugged on songs not arranged for his vocal range, when Liam had better things to do. Probably, that day, Noel started thinking about his solo career and believed he could do it. So eternal respect.

It’s impossible to watch this and then not respect him. Eternally grateful.

He had a sore throat Best decision he's ever made. That gig, how many times did i listen to that gig. All my teen years. So thank you Liam I learned how to play acoustic guitar by listening to a bootlegged version of that unplugged show and playing along with the tunes over and over. That gig will always be a classic for me. It wasn't until later I realized my bootleg CD was missing Whatever and Listen Up. Thankfully, I forgot how much I paid for it at this point but someone made a killing off me.

I think it's pretty safe to say the general consensus among Oasis fans isn't exactly positive regarding these new EP's. Actually not safe at all. You vastly overestimate the representativeness of this forum I'm actually talking about social media in general, not really this forum. I see a lot more negative than positive about his tunes these days. I'm not saying that's right or wrong.

A bunch of trolls is not a statistic So anyone who dislikes a Noel song is automatically a troll? No,my point is you do not have any serious data to sustain what you say Noel gets a lot of hate in social media by some Liam fans. They make a lot of noise but I do not think they are representative of the feelings of the majority of Oasis fans

They make a lot of noise but I do not think they are representative of the feelings of the majority of Oasis fans I don't think it's "hate", I think some people just don't like Noel's new direction which was always going to happen as some of it is an acquired taste, especially if you're not in to that sort of music. I think most people would agree that the songs on the EP's and parts of Who Built The Moon? weren't as well received as some of his earlier solo stuff, like I said, I'm not saying that's right or wrong, it's just been very noticeable over the last couple of years. It's just an observation, why would I need to provide data? I mostly love Who Built The Moon? by the way apart from 2-3 songs, just not feeling these EP songs yet.

Parka monkeys are a bit cultish with their haircuts, sunglasses and trench coats. Can barely tell them apart. Nobody worships Noel in the same way.

As I said, I think that is a very strong statement with little factual support, especially given that WBTM sales and ticket sales remained strong

I personally couldn't care less about Noel's personality change as long as he's still making music and doing what he loves, and that's all that matters to me. Music always comes first Ok? That's quite unsophisticated... I find it fascinating that so many people are offended by what Noel has said recently. It's fascinating that people are offended by offensive interviews? No. Not really. I'm sure he doesn't insult Oasis fans in general Ok? You know him? but the Oasis fans and Liam fanboys who insult him by devaluating his efforts to make the music he wants to make, And what about the NGHFB fanboys? If you don't like Noel as a person or his music, don't read his interviews or listen to his music. Simples. Don't tell me what to do. Thanks. You're such a gentleman. I really mean it.

I'm not on about Who Built The Moon? Ticket sales will always remain strong regardless of what's going on with his new stuff, as long as he keeps playing a few Oasis classics that will never be an issue.

Well, many of my friends are Oasis fans and they love TITP and all WBTM (which you also did mention). If it's about personal impressions, everybody has one. But I think they do not mean much. There are 100s of thousands of Oasis fans out there who buy the records and fill the venues. I do not think you can assume the few that post here or some tweets you saw in social media are representative of them. Anyway, I think my point has been sufficiently explained so I Will let it here

Same here Watched There and Then, the MTV unplugged and the G-Mex gig countless times, played along DM and MG, or BHN. It was a really fun way to learn the guitar.
