He's become what he used to make fun of. I see him as a hypocrite and I don't respect people like that. The way he dances around like a moron is disgraceful.

I used to respect him. Worship the ground he walked on even. Last couple of years though my respect from him has all but gone. When you swipe at the people who put you where you are, you aren't due loyalty any more. I totally agree with this. And people who defend him and say he doesn't owe us anything are missing the point. We wouldn’t know the truth under the table forever. The interview part just not bother me very much, he is Noel Gallagher, who used to have big mouth and arrogant. Meanwhile, I think he haven’t smile like a happy emoji for very long time since 2000. When I watch his gig this year, he looked like very joyful.

I personally couldn't care less about Noel's personality change as long as he's still making music and doing what he loves, and that's all that matters to me. Music always comes first

People who criticize the « new » Noel should watch the new documentary about john and yoko when that fan is waiting in front of his house. Long story short, here it is. Noel says harder words but its basically the same: dont expect anything hes just a musician

First time I went to ‘Noel Gallagher’ on the forum rightnow. Would be the first and the last time. Noel turned into something we dont fucking know, probably a mid life crisis. HE is the one who disrespect Oasisfans, and he made us (70% of the Oasis and Liam’s) fucking mad. He disrespect Liam in a very bad and angry way either. Dedicating Black Star Shitting to Oasisfans, fucking idiot.

The way I think about Liam and Noel now, it's as if Oasis was my favourite football team and the 90s were the glory years and every thing was brilliant.
Liam now is the same team but way past their best. I still support them because they are my team but it's never gonna be like it was.
Noel is like a great player from that team that has moved on to a different team. I am still interested in what he does because of what he did in the past and like to see him do well but I don't really support the team he plays for now.

I eat it every day. Noel is my ham, don’t mind it every now and again in a sandwich (playlist) but happy to have an alternative filling. Together they are my pizza topping, this is where they’re best. Nothing will ever come close.

I might be wrong, but I wasn't expecting the EPs to be spectacular. I thought they were leftovers from previous album cycles that he was releasing as EPs whilst we wait for a proper album.

In your opinion, it isn't good. In other people's opinion, it very much is. I think it's pretty safe to say the general consensus among Oasis fans isn't exactly positive regarding these new EP's. That's fine. What others think about the songs means nothing to me as I like it. And I'm sure me liking it means nothing to those that don't. There's plenty of other people on here who like it too. And plenty of people who don't. It's subjective. The majority of Oasis fans seem to think Liam's new stuff is awesome/groundbreaking, but I personally don't think it comes close to AYW yet, in all honesty, though each song has some nice moments. Just my opinion and appreciate everyone else will think differently on that. So I have no issue with views on the music. It is what it is. What I take issue with is people being so adamant that 'he's fundamentally changed', or he's an evil mastermind who's obsessed with ruining Liam's career or whatever - just because they don't like the music (which unless I've read it wrong is what the poster I was replying to was implying?)

I thought they were leftovers from previous album cycles that he was releasing as EPs whilst we wait for a proper album. I've been thinking that myself, but when it comes down to it they are being released as any other song would be, so they are going to get judged in the same way, regardless if it's from an album or an EP. Fair points and I agree with you. I was just saying there hasn't been a song which the majority have loved so far apart from maybe Sail On. It's been pretty negative/mixed.

That's quite unsophisticated... I find it fascinating that so many people are offended by what Noel has said recently. It's fascinating that people are offended by offensive interviews? No. Not really. I'm sure he doesn't insult Oasis fans in general Ok? You know him? but the Oasis fans and Liam fanboys who insult him by devaluating his efforts to make the music he wants to make, And what about the NGHFB fanboys? If you don't like Noel as a person or his music, don't read his interviews or listen to his music. Simples. Don't tell me what to do. Thanks.

I find it fascinating that so many people are offended by what Noel has said recently. It's fascinating that people are offended by offensive interviews? No. Not really. It's difficult to believe that, judging by some of the anti-Noel/love-Liam posters on this forum. The reactions by some on here every time Noel utters so much as a `Parka Monkey', you'd think he was the devil incarnated. Noel `Damian' Gallagher should be his new name, and 666 should be his Licence to Offend number...

The reactions by some on here every time Noel utters so much as a `Parka Monkey', you'd think he was the devil incarnated. Let's be honest here: Noel is just disappointed and hurt that a) his new musical direction a/k/a cosmic pop isn't exactly taking off and b) the tides have turned and Liam is now the successful Gallagher brother, something unimaginable after NGHFB/Different Gear. Instead of blaming himself for releasing such shitty tunes he's insulting the fans who prefer Liam's more traditional approach. So, his accusations don't offend me personally as their background is so easy to understand. It's just sad too see what the former legend NG has become. But... it's too early to give up on him, maybe he'll be strong enough to get rid of Sara and find his musical genius again.
