Noel really seems to have stepped up the laziness with this album cycle. How many proper B-sides have we actually got? 1? Arguably ZERO. That is, all b-sides have been either: on the album anyway / remixes / songs which leaked donkeys years ago. X

I mean what the fuck Noel. You say you write 100s of songs a year yet we only seem to really get old Oasis relics or tracks from 7 years ago. I mean I'm happy Alone On The Rope is FINALLY getting its due but that should have occurred in you know, 2011. My hope is the reason that Noel is being parsimonious with b-sides is because he’s planning to get another album out quickly and doesn’t want to waste good tracks. Ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Ha ha Ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha haHahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahah Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha Haha Hahahahaha Ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah ha Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha Haha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha haHaha Hahahahaha Hahaha Hahahahahahhahaha Hahah Hahahahahha Hahaha Ha ha

The B-side is a slap in the face of his loyal fans. Just ridiculous. He couldn't even be bothered to spend some money on a remix. And no digital files is a joke anyway. I don't always carry my record player with me...

I don't always carry my record player with me... With any other artist I would say something along the lines of "I'm sure this is all the label's doing" but Noel is very vocal about the fact that he calls all the shots. I mean this guy has a fucking full blown recording studio at his house. How hard would it be to bang out a full band version of God Help Us All? Damon Albarn recorded a whole Gorillaz album with an iPad ffs

I feel like Noel would be greatly amused by this thread.. In fact I think he’s trolling us

Is this the first time Alone On A Rope has been available in a lossless CD quality? The best version I got is a 320 kb/s MP3 download.

He just doesn't give a fuck, does he? Such a shame. Used to love his laziness... it was a funny quirk to Oasis. Now it's just a piss take. Whoever before said that he is less relevant than Beady Eye was right. He is. So annoying, he's being managed so poorly

With me it was the dog / cat analogy that he used to spin, before he found the words to describe it. Noel would always want a year off and Liam would always want to rush into the studio. It was a funny dynamic, the singer who was desperate to get in there and sing the songs. The songwriter who just couldn't be fucked.

Delighted to get Alone on the Rope on vinyl at last but another weird decision by Noel.
He goes on about how experimental this project was but it basically amounted to 5 genuinely different tracks and little else. Surely they had some other new material FFS!

Love Is the Law is a good example of a bong that Líam couldn't sing as well as Noël; I can't envision Líam doing that one....
Thanks

Keith Richards supposedly had a record player in one of his car's.....I don't get the whole vinyl thing, either.....
My parents had a record player, a nice one......I think; still sounded like shit, comparatively.....discovered the Beatles A Hard Day's Night, Michael Jackson's Thriller, and multiple Motown records with that classic emblem on that record player.
Thanks.

My parents get a pass for liking the Beatles......it's their age group, though. Ever want to test some one's mental stability or intelligence: ask them if they at least appreciate the Beatles.... Thanks.

Noel is less relevant now than Beady Eye was. Ehhh...no. People know who Noel is, plus he isn't as awful as Beady Eye were. This album actually did better too.

The real question is how a song like this somehow gets to be a single. Embarrasing.
