Just pre-ordered a picture disc and a regular disc. My friend in England will get me a purple vinyl.
I still keep buying all those records of yours, Noel, BUT you've been lazy as ever.
Also it's a crime that they don't even provide a free mp3 to the people who purchased all those singles.
Weller's official store sends mp3 of all his singles to those who purchased them on the release date.

At least six remixes wouldn't be an instrumental version of the track you just listened to and a previously released track... |

man this album/tour circle got boring pretty fast. while i enjoy watching liams tour and made peace with his album i dont care for noel at all at this point. good god beyonce released her album without an announcement while noel announces a single two months prior release without anything new on it. wtf

As good as it will be to get an official release of Alone On The Rope finally, especially on vinyl, this makes Noel look so tight with his songs. Far better than an instrumental though of course.
I now fully expect Just Let It Come Down Over Me on the next single! What a great tune that is!
He should have done AOTR and slapped another throwaway track on there, dressed it up as an EP (as it won't chart anywhere anwyway) and we'd have all have been happy as Larry.

No kidding, very few fucking minutes(!!!) ago i was listening to Alone On The Rope while on the train. I thought about how great it would be to have this on vinyl. I checked all the old bonus-special-whatever-editions of the first album seeing it was an download only song. And now I checked out the forum and see this... I was laughing out loudly, luckily being the only passenger in this part of the train. I love ILITL but still won't buy the single. This is not worth spending money on. He should have done something like "Songs From the Great White North" again. Love that vinyl, a pleasure for both eyes and ears.
