A case can be made for all of GOYHHL, AGN, and SO, but TNOR’s inclusion is inexcusable.

I used to love Soldier On, but after hearing the Morning Son, SO feels very dull in comparison. DOYS is a good album to listen during an autumn evening, but I feel by the end of it, I'm tired of it. It drags on too much while declining in quality. And I know everyone hates Ain't Got Nothing, but I must say, while not much better overall, the demo They Got Nothing On Me, They Got Nothing on You is the better version. The strings were better. Not everyone I think it's a fun little song, but would have worked better as a b-side. The same goes for (Get Off Your) High Horse Lady. I think DOYS is actually my 3rd favorite Oasis album. I'd love to hear Bag It Up live.

It was okay having The Meaning of Soul on DBTT (and even then Eyeball Tickler should've replaced it), but two albums in a row with a song like that was just too much. I Believe in All would've been a better song to have on DOYS in its place, followed by Come on Outside, Boy With the Blues instead TNOR, and then Soldier On.

Can’t believe it was 10 years ago that I saw Oasis on two consecutive nights at the BIC. I was still at school. First gig, first boyfriend, first taste of alcohol. Didn’t make it home or to school after the first night but recovered enough to do it all over again the following night. Was well worth the look on my Dad’s face when I finally reappeared minus my shoes.

I'm still the only person who legitimately likes GOYHHL Though, I think people forget that when the album came out, a few reviews listed GOYHHL as a highlight. It’s fine if unspectacular but the remix should have been the album version, as opposed to the grey and drab version we have.

First got into them during HC era being 13, reminds me of the 1st girl I was truly into and going to the park with her as SCYHO was no.1 lol and me listening to them on Windows Media Player. TIOBI being everywhere and DBTT summer 2005 reminds me of being 16 and getting my GCSE results and being free. DOYS reminds me of the 1st term of 1st year of uni and just playing Oasis through the walls of halls lol and then seeing them at Cardiff. 😍 In hindsight they were naff but at the time lol it was so good.

Yeah great memories. My parents have a camcorder vhs of me as a sugar overloaded toddler, wearing sunglasses, jumping around and running across the sofas to She’s Electric ffs. Actually, wait - nothing really changed ☺️

But I remember my mum giving my bf a knowing look.

Re listening to DOYS. I would actually give it a 8 or 9/10. I think half of the album could do with a remaster, the sound quality on the first 4 tracks, for example, sound very muddy. We also have like 20 bonus/b-side tracks! A solid and decent album IMO

So any album that isn't a 'classic' from 40+ years ago cant be rated a 9/10? Also, it's subjective isn't it? BHN and SOTSOG are generally low rated albums from critics, but IMO are brilliant.

9/10 for DOYS is very high though lol. Alright, an 8 Isn't it weird that even on an Oasis forum you can't say you like some of their albums without objections?

Alright, an 8 Isn't it weird that even on an Oasis forum you can't say you like some of their albums without objections? It is weird. I mean, im pretty sure I saw a few 8 and 9 out of 10's for Ashcroft's new album, and Im certain DOYS is better than that.

Alright, an 8 6Bollocks to that. 7.5, and that's being conservative. The shame of this album is that it had a real big potential of being a 9+. The songs were there for fuck's sake Noel.

There's a remix of GOYHHL? Why was this even done in the first place? Tempo is WAYYYY too slow. Not a fan. Much prefer the original, which really works going into Falling Down.

It sounds even worse than the original version. The following tracklist would've been fantastic. Not a classic, but a very good and solid album: 01. Bag It Up 02. The Turning 03. Waiting For The Rapture 04. The Shock of The Lightining 05. I'm Outta Time 06. (I Wanna Live In A Dream) In My Record Machine (sung by Liam) 07. Falling Down 08. To Be Where There's Life 09. Ain't Got Nothin' 10. Come On Outside (sung by Liam) 11. Soldier On I quite like Ain't Got Nothin'. Should've been a b-side but we didn't have any b-side material during the DOYS sessions apart from Those Swollen Hand Blues. AGN is a good filler.

11 years to the day. Still my favourite post-Bonehead Oasis album.
I'll never forgive that band for not playing Bag It Up and The Turning live.
