Went for 8 on first Listen. From sample in trailer wasn't looking forward to it but really liked it . Going to try not listen to the live versions much so I enjoy the studio version relatively fresh

Very U2 influenced to my ears. More scissors. And a bit of French megaphone. Sounds like a decent melody and some good lyrics. Need a few more listens, it didn't grab me on first listen in the way STHTF did.

Not been that impressed by Noel’s new material but this is an absolute tune. Had this been the first single I may have gotten excited.

I'm not sure if I'm fooling myself but sure I could hear the scissors higher in the mix lol . Illusion maybe

Slightly unrelated to the topic (it has very little to do with the rating of Beautiful World), but... There's a certain user who loves to vote 1 out of 10 in every poll on here ('Rate Gas Panic' thread included). I know who you are. Some of your posts have been huge clues but thanks for giving the definitive confirmation that you actually are a childish troll

Name and shame the troll !
Anyway a good song. Best one so far now. She taught me how to fly I like but there’s not just to it
First few listens of this one and it sounds good. Despite having that band ‘super organism’ playing I still find scissor woman even more crazy !
Looking forward to Noel’s album

The first poll in history where 90% of the people who read the poll don't actually know what the fuck is the poll about (the song is not out there for us all yet)

8-tahhhh...
Shaping up to be a great album after getting off on the wrong foot with Holy Mountain. Obviously there are plenty of people trying all kinds of newer things with music but it can only be rare to have somebody do it that has Noel’s ear for a melody. Sounds like this album is going to deliver.

This one is pretty good I think, some really good guitar melodies. Smple structure but manages to keep the interest.

It sounds much better on the record judging by the album clip imo.
He was struggling vocally.

First song Noel's released this cycle that I already know I'm gonna wake up and want to hear tomorrow.

What a great rhythm this has. Really bounces along and has a melancholic and contemplative tone to it. Sounds a lot like 90s U2, which is obviously a great thing. Such a cool vibe to it as well, doesn't seem to be overreaching or contrived. The songs help, but it's the coolest he's been on stage ever I think.
Cannot wait to hear the studio version of this.

4/10. I find nothing appealing about the song. The chorus is annoying, the music's boring. Worst of the bunch so far for me.

It's alright... not sure of its longevity though. Right now I'm not fussed if I never hear the main vocal hook ever again. All the songs sound exactly what they are - Noel being forced to sound a certain way.
