Steve asks how it got to this point.
Liam and Noel tell how they threw some fruit at each other then sent some very nasty tweets.
Steve points and laughs at both of them.

Its just sad how Liam goes after Noel...
He's like "I dont like his music and he is ugly". Come on man, what are you, 6?!

What's the purpose of the 'In the Press' section when press interviews get moved into this section? Because this thread is about Liam interview, I moved it to this board this morning with notification that it got moved. I don't think OP would have had a problem with it. webm@ster, I agree everything eva said. I'm not saying you did anything wrong. I'm saying the way the forum is divided up makes absolutely no sense.

Ahhh, Liam reminding us all how he doesn't chase success and is so much more real than Noel, after hiring Adele's songwriters. Does anyone believe this crap, even here?
If he 'just wanted to out an album out' he could have. He's starting to seem more fake than Noel.

To be honest, I am bored of this Liam's bullshit. He is still talking like his album is some hc punk rock shit and not album where half of the songs are some 80s glam rock style ballads.
''Sometimes we lose are way'' - gay as fuck, melody and lyrics and the way he sings it and everything.

Liam: "Noel is a potato, his music sucks. It's all his fault, even the Holocaust. His wife is shit. Don't brother me, but take my hand. And then fuck off you beige vagina."
Noel: "..."
Liam: "Mooooom! Noel won't talk to meee!"

Liam: "Mooooom! Noel won't talk to meee!" Exactly. It's pathetic. And people (including Liam) are crying that Noel won't reform Oasis. Of course he won't, I imagine he's far happier without dealing with this child every day, and I expect his family are too. Look how miserable he was on oasis' last tour. Who wants him to go through that again so we can hear Liam butcher some oasis songs? I wonder if Liam, has ever, ever, considered in all his self pity, that maybe if he'd just turned up for a few soundchecks, recording sessions and lifted a finger occasionally, maybe all that was handed to him on a plate wouldn't have been taken from him? He did fuck all work in Oasis and rather than slagging off the guy who gave it to him, should perhaps show a little self awareness if he actually genuinely respects it and wants another bite. It's like Ringo slagging off John Lennon's songs for gods sake. Noel would have, one way or another, had some success writing songs without Liam. I don't think the same could be said for Liam without Noel, and he needs to grow up. I know some here think it's cool or 'punk' or something, but most of us learn not to send messages when we're drunk or having a tantrum at about the age of 16. For Liam to still be doing it, and publicly, and then crying about his mean brother not talking to him, is just pathetic. Get a counselor for gods sake.

Noel would have, one way or another, had some success writing songs without Liam. I don't think the same could be said for Liam without Noel Liam had a band that Noel joined. Noel had been happy as a backstage guy, and has said he could have easily had a happy life without pursuing a musical career of his own. Had they not gotten together, Noel would probably have had some success as a solo artist, but the passion generated by Oasis wouldn't have been there. And there are songs that simply wouldn't have been written without a Liam-style singer to write them for. Liam, with The Rain, would have eventually been discovered as a singer, the rest of the band kicked aside, and professional backing musicians and songwriters brought in to get the most out of his voice. In effect, Oasis not existing would have brought about the current timeline sooner.

Theyd both be doing a 9-5 job without the other one. Liam was absolutely critical to the start of Oasis and anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves. This idea that because Noels songs were of a certain quality theyd definitely have made it in some form is very misguided. If the internet was around in 1994 theyd be more weight to that argument but the chances of the vast majority of Definetely Maybe sounding anywhere near as good as it does without liam is very unlikely.

It always cracks me up when someone goes off about Liam on a Liam thread. If you dislike him so much... go to the Noel thread. Btw Thanks for taking the time to translate the article for us!

It's a good thing that the Noel Whamboys are here though. On negative or positive attention Tony Wilson used to say - it's the volume that counts. If Liam wasn't important again, Uncle Noel's shoe-shiners wouldn't be here.

Though Noel doesn't have a child he refuses to call by her name so he's got that I guess. Yeh it's a Liam thread, all opinions welcome. It's not a Liam adoration thread, deal with it.

Liam Gallagher. Interview for Il Giornale in Milan. I translated Liam's words from Italian. www.ilgiornale.it/news/spettacoli/eccessi-risse-e-tanta-musica-liam-rockstar-dura-e-pura-1441882.html"If I'd been born in Milan, maybe I wouldn't have started a band, but if I had done it, I would have probably written cheerful and carefree songs like Happy by Pharrell Williams. I'm from Manchester, instead, where you can just say 'Fuck, it's raining again' and besides football it's natural to just get into football." Thanks very much for the translation. Enjoy reading press outside the UK where he gives interesting remarks on different cities. "besides football it's natural to just get into football" - is one of the 'football' supposed to be 'music'?
