We all need to stop sending people dick pics; and, instead send emails to the official Oasïs website demanding the release of the SOTSOC reissue.... Thanks. Man I need to follow you on twitter. Pure gold. I don't have Twitter; I do have Facebook, though, we can be Facebook friends, and I'm a great Facebook friend, too, just ask Beady’s Here Now or eva; just don't ask Frodis, though, Frodis and myself are no longer Facebook friends because I'm super annoying - I sent her a bunch of Tom Brady Facebook page invites, but , I know you would love them.... God bless.

I doubt this will see a true "deluxe" reissue any time soon. It doesn't need a remaster as it is arguably the best sounding Oasis record in their discography. Unfortunately it's arguably their worst album. I'd love it as a fan, but seriously talking about a reissue is probably a waste of time.

But if there’s one thing I learned from movies it’s that the guy always gets the girl in the end. Hope springs eternal, innit.

talking about a reissue is probably a waste of time. arguably, being on a forum for a band that split up a decade ago is a waste of time X

I'm dying to hear this one. There must be unheard demos and unreleased songs. Discuss.

There's For One So Young and I suppose there could be versions of Lord Shine A Light On Me and The Good Rebel, besides that I'm not sure what value they could add besides what's already leaked? I doubt there are that many songs from that era that weren't on the leaked tapes? It doesn't even need remastering does it?

The Good Rebel was written just before DBTT. The other prob few years later just prior to HFB.

I'm not that big of a fan, so what do I know... but wasn't it only the first three albums that were gonna get Superduper deluxe reissues?
Would like owning this one on vinyl though.
Will Familiar to Millions get a reissue? Or will some other concert be dug out of the vault for a vinyl release?

Lord Shine A Light In Me I'm sure is pre SOTSOG 🤔 We've had this discussion before, I wish I could prove you wrong 😂

It's as much a part of the glory years as the Britpop trilogy. It was a better Be Here Now than Be Here Now, really.

I get that is the consensus (and Noels opinion) - but I do not agree personally. I didn't find the songs all that strong on it. But I get that fans love it: http://instagr.am/p/B1bvmXqJF_V http://instagram.com/p/B1ekDGfB5bZ

LOL @ saying The Masterplan sounds like it has fillers 😁 What's next, someone's gonna say it sounds like a bunch of b-sides? 🙃
Oh, and Whatever isn't on it because it's a B-side compilation targeted at the US market where fans had a hard time getting hands on the b-sides.

I don't think it would carry a bunch of surprises, but considering the demos were so widely bootlegged, it might just be a strategic move to reissue a set that polishes those up and puts those back under the Noel or Oasis copyright (not unlike what the Beach Boys have been doing with the "1967," "1968" etc. sets, or what McCartney did with the Elvis Costello demos on the "Flowers in the Dirt" reissue). Considering all the post "Be Here Now" material has had relatively recent vinyl reissuing, I don't know that there's a huge need for that, but a double LP with the B-sides of the era might be a nice way to let newer fans get songs like "Let's All Make Believe," "One Way Road" and "Full On" on wax without having to pay through the nose for the 12-inch singles on Discogs. The B-sides from 2000-2009 never did get a "Masterplan" treatment that (most of) the 1994-1997 ones did. Certainly we could argue about changes in the quality of songwriting, but there are some good ones knocking about.

Plus, I’m sure we don’t have ALL the demos - there was an interview in 2000 or so where Noel said that he’d recorded acoustic demos of the album before making the ‘real’ demos...
I doubt they’d release them but there’s presumably some early mixes of the tracks with Bonehead and Guigs on too
