this is amazing. album needs a reissue with live takes and demos And what kind of stuff is in the vaults, like we saw with the Liam-sung Step Out. I'd be willing to guess that there's some good stuff in the vaults from SOTSOG, given how the sessions were likely impacted by Noel tensions being high between Liam and Noel, especially being in such a valley after a peak like the first albums and having everyone check out on them (minus Whitey). |

this is amazing. album needs a reissue with live takes and demos Always thought this was a brilliant session recorded for BBC Radio 1 in Jan 2000. First session with Andy and Gem in the band. A crime that they never did anymore sessions like this. My only slight criticism is they should have played go let it out instead of Sunday morning call as GLIO had just been released as a single that month, but what do I know! |

I REALLY hope this happens. Not feeling hopeful, but the fact that Noel played GLIO a few times live made me think he had maybe been revisiting the album with a view to reissuing it. Fingers crossed! And we just got LG playing Gas Panic for the first time since 2002. I doubt the reissue will come out in February now though. I'm thinking maybe November 2020, to cash in on next Christmas, as both Liam and Noel (probably) won't have any new projects to promote next year. I can't see Noel turning down easy money. Whether we get a full on Chasing The Sun style boxset is another matter though of course. Even just a 2CD reissue will do me, as long as it has a few worthwhile tracks on it. |

If a reissue is coming (probably not) it would be announced in January if they really wanna release it for its 20th anniversary. Man that is scary to write out actually. Twentieth. I remember being in high school checking for daily news on how the album was progressing on a prehistoric dial up Internet and bootleg looking websites/forums/chat rooms. Yeah the SOTSOG release was exciting. Remember FITB and WFL acoustic being aired in december 99, it was like WTF they've gone wild. Early reviews mentionned a very psychedelic record. The rest was a bit disapoiting, but overall, it's a good record. And we got the demos at the same time. The internet was really exciting back then wasnt it. Like a store where you would get anything for free. |

If nothing else, this release would be nice to get the rare music out of the hands of the hoarders so that everyone would have it. Just like it was so nice when the Mustique demos came out and now everyone had them instead of a select few who were holding them over our heads and adding little comments to their signature lines.

Too bad I find it exhausting to listen to Springsteen for 30 minutes. I'd definitely fancy a 24-CD Oasis box set though! |

They will come out after the reissues of the first three albums ;-P X (Being serious, they have to fit the Oasis reissues around the Gallagher’s solo careers. Hard to do that for 7-8 albums. I have no doubt this will come out at some point, hopefully sooner when there’s a gap between solo albums, but possibly later when Noel has semi-retired.) X |

It was great getting the Mustique demo tape in full (well, kinda in full) for BHN but the DM and MG reissues were a real hodgepodge. I’d much rather several gigs in full etc like that Bruce box. No doubt we’ll get milked with things like that for the 40th and 50th anniversaries instead... X |
