Can't see the difference? Black border instead of the original white one. Of the many things he could do to improve Be Here Now this is what Noel went with ;-P X

I actually like the 2000-02 Oasis logo.
Don’t get me wrong i prefer the original and at the time it was a bit of a shock but overall I feel really nostalgic about it. I love my 2001/02 Oasis t-shirt with the Stars and Stripes O and that logo underneath

Weird, that. I get that you don't want the fame or adulation... but why would he not want his image to be shown in previous footage. Footage that is available anywhere online? Money. In the end, the only losers of their boycott are the fans. Stuff gets released where their consent isn't necessary (Chasing the sun, edited Supersonic) and releases that make no sense without their approval (Knebworth) simply stay in the archives. I don't get it... so he wanted a certain figure and wasn't given it?

Nonetheless, it was a bold move by Noel to move away for it and he deserves credit for doing so to try it out. It gave SOTSOG, and even HC, a different feel from other albums.

Of the many things he could do to improve Be Here Now this is what Noel went with ;-P X Brian Cannon designed two iconic sleeves that year. Be Here Now had white borders, The Verve Urban Hymns had black borders. I think it was intentional that he used borders, but with different colors. Morning glory also had white borders, it's clearly a signature.

Their sleeves from 94 to 2000 (SOTSOG album cover but not the singles) were kinda great, genius even. They make very good frame to hang on the wall, many details, references, hidden messages...

Didn’t stop them from half doing it on HC and 85% doing it on DBTT and 75% doing it on DOYS. Just go 100%! look amazing.... but can't change history Pink Floyd have had several versions of the cover for Dark Side Of The Moon!

Pink Floyd have had several versions of the cover for Dark Side Of The Moon! And no variation beats the original one. Or comes even close.

Standing on the Shoulder of Giants will always hold a special place in my heart. It released towards the end of my junior year of high school and would become the go-to-album when me and my friends would smoke pot. Then when I got to college it became the soundtrack to many nights of getting high with my new group of stoner friends. They hadn’t paid Oasis much mind before I introduced them to my obsession with them, and they quickly came to realize that it was the perfect music to smoke to, haha. Most memorable is in college we experimented with LSD a couple of times and it ended up being the only album we would play, haha. We hit play, put the cd player on repeat and listened to the album over and over for 8 hours straight! It was an amazing experience that we repeated a few more times. So for that, SOTSOG is very special to me. To this day I consider it to be the most psychedelic, stoner-esque thing they’ve released. Dig Out Your Soul comes in a close second. Listening to Who Feels Love I can close my eyes and practically smell the pot smoke coming out of the speakers. They are forever my favorite band of all time.
For me Who Built the Moon would probably be 3rd on the list of stoner oasis-related albums.

We all need to stop sending people dick pics; and, instead send emails to the official Oasïs website demanding the release of the SOTSOC reissue....
Thanks.
