never had much of desire to see ian brown live, hes created some cool tunes but hes luckiest guy ever to make it as singer when he cant sing for shit. I mean its ridiculous when you think about it. Great studio vocalist, poor live vocalist IMO.

I've seen Ian Brown live twice in 2008 and 2010. I know, you know, everyone knows, even Ian self knows he can't sing. This guy absolute can't sing, yet he's a singer of one the most influenced UK bands in 90's. I can't tell exactly, but when you see him singing on stage, you don't think like "Jesus, this is awful", but you'd be amazed to see him taking control over the entire space and audiences and that's why he's a front man.

I think Ian's technique is to sing very quietly in the studio so his voice sounds better. But when it's live concert he has to sing louder and that makes his voice worse.

The thing with Ian Brown is, not his voice actually, but he can't even hold the notes. Still I really loved to see him solo before the Roses. "Sister Rose" and "Keep What You Got" are top tunes live as well.

Only 1 night at Wembley then 2 nights at Leeds Arena.. Seems a bit of an odd way to arrange a tour.

I remember that when the Roses reunited in 2012, promising a new album, I joked that it would probably be released five years later like the first two. Seems like that might have been a tad optimistic!
