Genuinely quite surprised by this, it caught me off guard. I kind of always dismissed rumours of new activity as just rumours, so it feels strange when things like this start popping up in public. A couple of shows is more likely than an album but I can't help but remember this... www.gigslutz.co.uk/mani-there-will-be-a-new-stone-roses-album-in-2015/

I can see Noel supporting them at Glasto and/or Etihad Stadium...

I'm keeping an eye on the Roses forum. I'll post if anything further develops.

I love the hype and expectation of an album build-up, kind of sad I haven't got one ATM, this will do nicely

The real question here: will a third Roses album be better than Be Here Now? The answer: will it fuck!

I think they have hit the stage now where they cant really play any more shows without new material, hoping this is an album and tour. they've had plenty of time to record a good quality album

Was legitimately saying to Beady’s Here Now the other night that the Roses would be my favourite band if they'd made more albums. Fucking get in!

I've always thought they would release a new album.
Ian Brown hasn't gone back to doing solo as expected and the lack of any word from them them isn't a sign of discontent - they did this back in the late 80s where there was hardly any word from the band.
