Beautiful Thing is definitely a mix between their debut and Second Coming.
It's a good tune overall, although the melody is (again) a bit poor.
way better than the turd the released few weeks ago. But it seems like they have not evolved at all. As Someone said, it sounds like a Fools gold rip-off.

I'm not sure I understand any of the criticism for Beautiful Thing. I thing this is an absolutely brilliant song.
All For One was a bit of a throwaway, but not dreadful, nor great.
This song though for me ticks all the boxes of an excellent song - I've listened to it 30+ times without getting bored of it, the groove and production is great, melody great, vocals great, and I can't get it out of my head.
I honestly prefer this to most of Second Coming.
This song was MUCH easier for me to get into than Fool's Gold - which took me ages to enjoy, as I always thought it sounded like Sims background music...

well I think its more "classic sounding", its more along the lines of what I was expecting from all for one and actually has the trademarks of stone roses, feels like a crossover between ians solo stuff and fools gold.
...bit of a shame it doesnt take off enough towards the end but yea decent track.

Wednesday night's gig was amazing, I really enjoyed myself. Atmosphere was absolutely electric, and the band were on fire (especially Reni). Not sure why they aren't playing Beautiful Thing yet, and Fools Gold was a bit too slow for my liking but other than that it was a 10/10 gig!
