www.nme.com/news/nme/89547Aurora added that her version of 'Half The World Away' is "more me" given that it is slower and "sounds a bit more sad." She added, "It's a beautiful song. The lyrics are very good, so I thought, 'This is something I can sing; I can stand for these words because they're beautiful words.'" Is that another way of the new artist saying "I grew up on Katie Melua and have heard of Ellie Goulding?" In fairness to the girl it isn't the worst of the John Lewis covers by a long stretch From what I know, her biggest heroes are actually Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, and she also loves The Chemical Brothers. That's an interesting mix of musical influences.

Ok, I bought a coffee maker out of there once, but we'll gloss over that. I bought a bed from there once. It was the cheapest in their range, I wasn't being flash. It fell to bits! I had to fix it with car jacks.

Got quite the laugh off this one. Please make it stop, it'll just end up in a charity shop.

fucks sake, ive been looking at twitter and people just dont get the message in the advert, its not supposed to be taken literally, the whole point is the old man is alone, has no family and feels like hes isolated far away from everyone in his own world, the girl is reaching out to him and showing him that someone still cares, the concept of the advert is metaphorical.
like someone said though, you dont need to buy people things to show you care so the point of the advert is lost abit, as they want you to go buy bags of crap so it loses its magic abit.

They're raising awareness for a good cause, which is a hell of a lot more than what most stores do.
Anyway, who gives a shit. The commercials are Christmassy and emotional and I love watching them.

Got quite the laugh off this one. Please make it stop, it'll just end up in a charity shop. Wow I didn't realise The GLC are still going! Their versions of Man Eater and Golddigger are hilarious. £18! £18! How can a main course cost £18!?
