I still think it should have been YKWCGB,but this one is a good summer single too The move makes sense, announcing a single after his T In The Park's triumph

YEAH!
Video isn't working here either. I didn't say anything because I thought it was just my wifi messing up.

I'm glad the single isn't "The Dying of The Light". Fantastic album track but would have been a poor singles choice. Not enough radio single gumption in my opinion. Selecting "Lock All The Doors" is fine but I'm really surprised Noel didn't go with "You Know We Can't Go Back". He knows the fans love it and it's got some bounce to it. Plus he said he really enjoys it. It probably has the best carry over chances to new fans but oh well. He's already almost 50! That ship has sailed.

The important question is, of course, what's the B side?

The important question is, of course, what's the B side? Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me and My Monkey. No it isn't that but imagine if it was?

Here's some info for those who haven't clicked on the 'Buy' link on Noel's website. - "Here's a Candle (For Your Birthday Cake)", the recently speculated title and unheard NG track, is confirmed as the b-side. - This 7" (7-inch) vinyl release is in fact, YELLOW. - Will become available, shipped and to buy, on August 28, 2015. store.noelgallagher.com/cart/product.php?id=25635

Preordered. Nice cover and a new b-side, so I'm not complaining. I personally would have chosen The Right Stuff, though.

Given the silly title, I sort of expect it to be in the vein of Leave My Guitar Alone. But who knows, it might be a belter (Ballad of the Mighty I, anyone?).

Ordered.
I heard Lock All The Doors on XFM Scotland this morning along with clips of an interview with Noel, missed what the DJ said before the tune started but found it weird to hear an album track being played on the radio but now it makes sense.
