Lazy artwork, lazy video, not a great song (very forgettable in fact) have ordered none the less to keep my collection in good order! the only thing i am missing is the dream on 12" , cant seem to find one anywhere at a good price. This is the un-numbered version of the vinyl. www.discogs.com/sell/release/3677322?ev=rbThe numbered vinyl goes for between £40-£100 I think, pretty steep! Blimey I had no idea they were worth that much! I've got #962. That makes them more valuable than the Songs from the Great White North vinyl, how is that even possible?! After just looking through my vinyl boxset for the first album I really hope we get a similar box for the CY singles. That HFB1 boxset is a seriously beatiful item. Fun Fact: We never got a boxset for the BE singles, the last Gallagher release that we didnt't get a UK boxset for was SOTSOG in 2000. In fact SOTSOG is the only Oasis album to not end up with some sort of UK boxset.

So are we all in agreement that the Riverman video was formerly for YKWCGB? And they changed their mind?

That was what I was thinking, or at least parts of it, and that they indeed changed their minds. Just like how the Do The Damage video was obviously meant for In The Heat Of The Moment. The Riverman video really goes with Riverman though, so maybe they used parts of it.

Never worth that price but someone will pay it. www.discogs.com/Noel-Gallaghers-High-Flying-Birds-Dream-On/release/3458933The UNKLE Reworks vinyl went for around £50 on eBay a couple of weeks ago and the promo CD is currently over £40 too. Really surprising considering you could pick up the CD for around a fiver not so long ago and the vinyl for approx £20.

As I've said, I really enjoy Lock All the Doors. And yes, I was one of the guys who got emotional when I heard it for the first time. And yes, it was me again who said that LATD was one of the highlights of the tour, and I'll stress that I jumped to it and sang every word at both the gigs I attended. Should I be ashamed of myself?

If that Lock All The Doors demo from Oasis wouldn't have made it's way to the internet, people wouldn't say it's "watered down Oasis". Noel was the writer of Oasis but this is NGHFB and it's slightly different from Oasis. You want watered down Oasis? Stick on a Beady Eye album! Finally watched the video just now. Love it. I hope there will be a touring documentary. Not really. For example, I think Iz Rite and I'm Just Saying completely watered down Oasis, ans they're not old demos from the Oasis time as far as I know.

Only just noticed there are still 'Limited Edition' coloured Riverman vinyls in the official store?
Obviously trying to capitalise on Noel's dominance in the vinyl singles market.

2 weeks ago I purchased limited colored vinyl from Noels store. It was in fact ash colored translucent vinyl with glitter.
I was surprised they were still available, not sure how many exist or how many more are left. Riverman didn't exactly do very well though.

I love this fucking song so much, both versions. I'm currently blasting it out of my bass heavy £500 sound system, that chorus is just orgasmic and the intro is a nostalgic smack in the gut for us Oasis die-hards
It's by far and away my favourite post Oasis song, it's simple but an easy 10/10 for me, not every perfect song needs to be a complex, emotional soundscape, sometimes the most perfect songs can be incredibly simple (There She Goes for example)
An album full of these beauties next please Noel!

I 100% agree. It's one of my favourites and it's great and effective. I so agree on the fact that not every song needs to be long and complex to be great.

Not really. For example, I think Iz Rite and I'm Just Saying completely watered down Oasis, ans they're not old demos from the Oasis time as far as I know. love this. Beady Eye watered down Oasis - "return to form, fuck yeah!" Noel watered down Oasis - "old tune, lame. lazy bastard" love both I'm Just Saying and Lock All The Doors. Gallaghers at their best (Liam's vox and Noel's songwriting) Iz Rite didnt age so well to me. though. neither The Good Rebel...!

If you look in the history of sales, the highest was sold for 45€ (round about 35£) and the lowest for 10€ (round about 7£)...
