Sadly , this is what plagued oasis , and it took them YEARS. TO OVERCOME IT. DBTT to be exact ....BEADY EYE will not overcome this in USA. Two lps that nobody knows here now another fucking mega screw up ......I'm not yrying to say I told you ,,..but I said months ago they should scrap the USA ....tour euro in summer OR. TAKE A FUCKING BREAK AND RETHINK THIS " Edit And by scrap I mean .i posted this long ago during all the brawling here and silliness ...... But I said from get go. Bdi with its current lineup is OASIS light ...... The fans see gem Andy Liam up front , and dream OASIS. Put that together with decent but not spectacular lps and the fans just want to hear oasis .... ( most ). I said this so many times LIAM NEEDS to distance himself from the OASIS brand , gem and Andy can play on a track or two , but get a band that has no identity to OASIS , to me it beats the CONSTANT INEVEITABLE COMPARISINS. COMPARISONS THEY WILL LOSE EVERYTIME So just roll over and not even bother trying? I'd be even more pissed with them for not even bothering to try. So what you're saying is fuck the US fans who bought the album, and saw them on their last tour through here, because the album isn't selling here/US fans don't care and just want to see OASIS. I don't think people are going to Beady Eye gigs here expecting an Oasis concert. Unless they're either too young to have not been around when Oasis were still together or just stupid, most people are going to a beady eye concert to see Liam, Andy, & Gem.

Is anyone going to wait for an explanation?
It could totally be Beady Eye's fault but Liam being clearly pissed off about it should at least give people pause to see what the reason is. I would have thought someone will ask them soon as they tour.

Before I give up hope, I keep looking for some sort of announcement from Beady Eye themselves. Maybe it's all a mistake? The band's website still has Coachella listed. Otherwise the evidence is: (1) the "Coachooser" on the Coachellla site not listing Beady Eye anymore, (2) the anonymous Goldenvoice employee who said they aren't playing, and (3) Liam's diatribe in Europe. Maybe that's pretty damning evidence.

Coachella changed the poster on their website. Beady Eye was erase so I think that confirm it. So sorry for the people who has tickets. It sucks.

You mistake my post ,,,,bdi simply isn't livibg up to Liam's expectations both in UK and here ,,,Liam is not the type it seems to start over I don't blame him ,,,but ok saying the small venues doesent seen to appeal to him , especially here ,, so yea , I think they need to regroup and rethink man. It's not working. For even one of you there a thousand here who could give a fuck less or even know they are a band. That's 2 lps in , get no radio exposure , it just isn't working man I think thts frustrates Liam ,,,and frankly I don't see it changing in the USA. Or if they do another lp. , it xpcertainly won't get plsy here. ,why should it ,,the first 2 have not ...I'm just being a realist

The fact that Beady Eye has not bothered to release an official statement yet is quite unprofessional. The fans deserve a statement, even if not an explanation. Liam's little quip on stage is not good enough.

I'm sorry, but I just don't agree with you that people going to a Beady show are going to see Oasis (minus Noel). So by that same admission, going to see Noel & HFB is going to see Oasis because it's Noel. I'd say Beady is doing fairly well in Europe and the UK from what I've seen. The exposure issues says more about their management than it does them. In the end, it's a disservice to fans here in the US to just say "Fuck it, the album didn't sell well/wasn't promoted well in the States so... fuck them we're not going over there!" We still want to see them, whether it be in a small club or an amphitheater.

Yes , but I honestly think Liam needs to regroup ..I said this 6 months ago I believe it then ...more so now .....Liam did not anticipate 2 lps in. He would be playing to less people ,,, not more. It's just my opinion ... I think it's a waste of time , the people enmssse can care less ,bdi hasn't exploded in fact it's regressed , there is ZERO BUZZ MAN. AI T HAPPENING Tbh, i don't really care too much about Coachella. That's no biggie. It sucks for the people who bought tickets/plane tickets only to have 'em pull out with no formal reason as to why. I'm just pissed there's no US tour for the album. Like i said, 4-5 major market cities in small clubs would not hurt them/break the bank.

Hopefully Chicago .,,,I really want them to fucking succeed. Sadly I don't see it happening

This really pisses me off how many shows they have cancelled and let down fans yet again It does seem pretty constant. They seem to have cancelled as much in 3 years as Oasis did in 15. Anyway, I think I've probably listened to Beady Eye's music more than anyone in the world not named Rolo but it's clear that 2014 is the end of them.

I've been to the event in 2002 when Oasis headlined, it's a great time and it's only gotten bigger/better since I went. Loads of great bands to see and discover. Beady Eye would only be one of many highlights to me. Enjoy these guys: - Arcade Fire - Neutral Milk Hotel - Broken Bells - The Replacements - Jagwar Ma - Beck - Queens of The Stone Age - Lana Del Rey Nobody is going to drop all that money (concert ticket, hotel room, plane ticket) just to see Beady Eye. If you are going, it's because the overall lineups are strong.

I hate it when bands cancel shows for no reason or announce it at the last minute. It's so disrespectul towards the fans. It sucks for you gus who bought tickets just to see them. Hope you can get your money back I think that's what pisses me off most. The fact that the fans didn't receive an explanation. The fans in Lisbon still haven't gotten an explanation. What's worse is I don't believe any fans will receive a proper explanation unless they're asked about it in an interview. Beady Eye are becoming notorious for either not providing an explanation when a gig is cancelled or one is given, but is extremely delayed.

I agree there's other good music on the venue, but I would not have gone if it weren't for Beady Eye. (I've seen Arcade Fire 3 times already and I'm hardly a massive fan). I really want to see Liam live, and fear this may be my last chance, at least for a very long time. I'll probably end up going because the plane ticket is pretty much a sunk cost. I'll probably end up having a decent time and hear some good music. But there's no way I would have decided to go if BE wasn't on the card. I mean I like QOTSA, but not enough to fly for 4 hours to see them.

This is the OASIS / Noel / BDI WAY. they dont , even Noel put the fans first ,,that's something the UK fans tolerated over the years ., the USA however will not. ... it's same for both ,Noel coulda bit his lip and soldiered on for the fans as well. So I'm not Liam bashing ....this is there Achilles heel

Needless to say I went for a wedding in a castle , but got strippers , hooliganism , geared to max ,drunk , bSically I lived the hangover like 15 years before it was written ,,,,just go fuck bdi. Have a blast. You may have a better time !!!! True story

Its not like I was just flying in to see Beady Eye and then going to my hotel room and flying out. I was going to go and soak it all in, enjoy the experience. But I would definitely not have pulled the trigger on the trip if not for Beady Eye. As a result, it's a huge piss off that they're not going to be there.
