I'm so glad The Dying Of The Light isn't called It Makes Me Wanna Cry anymore, that was such an awfully cringey song title. 'It's Alright' or even '(Come On) It's Alright' would be better titles for Come On Outside.

The title isn't, but the existence of a track including the lyrics is. Hence why its in brackets and italics. It's a track we can't say is 100% called 'The Right Stuff', but shall be referred to as that until we know for certain. Likewise 'Maybe!' which is a song we don't know the name of, but we do know exists.

We all make mistakes. |

In my opinion: Dying Of The Light - Single Worthy [Maybe!] - Potential to be a pretty special album track. Come On Outside - Decent Album Track. Should have been on Dig Out Your Soul. Freaky Teeth, Oh Lord!, She Must Be One Of Us [less whistles please!] & Just Let It Come Down Over Me - All album worthy. [Slower Than The Speed of Magic!] - Could go either way... may have vocals we don't know about. God Help Us All & Don't Stop The Happening- Really not my favourites, but wouldn't be too surprised to see either of them on the album. Revolution Song - B-Side. It's failed to make 5 albums for a reason. Surely NGHFB2 will be strong enough to oust it once again and send it to its ultimate fate as a lowly B-side. Please. That's what, at least 7 album worthy songs IMO. From Definitely Maybe to NGHFB1 (Minus The Masterplan) all official albums have contained 10-12 track. Thats a pretty remarkable lack of variety over 8 releases. Would love to hear a proper 18 song epic, but I highly doubt it. |

Just rewatching the making of NGHFB documentary when I noticed they played an excerpt from The Dying of the Light. It's different from the leak/demo version we have - did they record it then but decide to leave it for the second record? thought it was interesting and didn't know where to else to mention it 5:50 If I remember correctly, Noel recorded it very late into the production and he decided to hold it back for HFB#2. The right choice I believe. However, I strongly feel Freaky Teeth SHOULD have been on his debut. Too rocking and good to leave in limbo. |

I really wonder if Noel out of the slight possibility is holding any songs back for oasis. Thinking this will probably sound like a stadium rocker and really good if Liam sang it.
