At least we know the artwork will be in good hands, now get morris to produce it and some cocaine and im ready for 90's oasis part two Edit: oasis 90's without liam of course, but you cant have it all right.. My one complaint with HFB and this is very very minor but the album artwork was so fucking ugly. Gross murky colors. I wish Noel used the The Death of You and Me single as the actual album cover for HFB.

Anyone think Freaky Teeth will be on it?
To me, it's kind of like a improved version of Come On Outside, which in itself is a very good track.

It definitely should have been on HFB in my opinion right after the track WAL. The only thing working against it being on HFB#2 is that the song is now over 6 years old. Written in 2008, finally released in 2014? We shall see. Granted Record Machine and Stop The Clocks finally came out after a decade in limbo. Part of me wants to see a tracklisting featuring 12 songs none of us have ever heard or seen before. I want to be surprised.

I'd like to be surprised also, but to be fair it's not Noel's fault that we know these songs (other than Freaky Teeth). I definitely want to see The Dying Of The Light on the album.

I hope this album has 12 songs. I'm over the 10 song limit Noel has been doing since like 2005.

Freaky Teeth is awful so I hope that isn't on it. He should get someone else to sing on the album.

No Freaky Teeth, thank you. The demo version and live recordings are more than sufficient. Time it was put to bed.
Come On Outside I am very hopeful for. Big fan of that.
And I quite agree - for someone who writes as many songs as Noel claims to, 10 per album is taking the piss.

I think HFB had 10 songs because he recorded the AA album as well

I'm actually not that big of a fan of The Dying of the Light.
I think it's good, but it's not great.
Whereas I though If I had a Gun, a better song in my opinion, should have more stripped down, I don't believe the same with The Dying of the Light. I'm not asking for blaring guitar solo everywhere, but I think strings would work well on it and it wouldn't be overdone. I could see the Dying of the Light being more akin to Everybody's on the Run as the final product, rather than If I had a Gun. So very large, yet minimal. Minimal percussion would be nice. I think it would be great if whatever percussion there is comes in extremely late in the song.
I'd like to see Freaky Teeth on the album. I'd also like God Help Us All too. I think God Help Us All is pretty underrated and could turn well in the end.
I'm not too enamored with Come on Outside. Would it have been better the Nature of Reality and Ain't Got Nothin'? Yes, definitely. Would it have made that much of a difference on DOYS, I don't think so. It's an okay song. It's a song I would find much more interesting if it were given an AA type treatment rather the arrangement that it seemed Noel was leaning toward during DOYS.

I really don't like Come On Outside (at least the demo version we have heard). To me it sounds like a complete regression for him and is not really something I'd be interested in hearing on an album.

What if I really like all of them? The Dying Of The Light is one of the best he's ever written in my opinion, I'm a big fan of that song

All album covers with Gallaghers on them are photographed in drunk tanks.

I think it would've made a huge difference on DOYS, I always felt that album tailed off terribly after Falling Down. Whether it was a conscious decision by Noel to go top heavy on DOYS with his songs and let the rest fall off a cliff I don't know but for me Come on Outside would be comparable to Bag It Up and The Turning as excellent vibrant album songs. I think all three should've been played live to be honest and ASGOG should've been 17mins long like the Neil Young-esque soundcheck but how and ever

I tracklisting like this gives Oasis the swan song they so much deserved. - Bag It Up - The Turning - Waiting For The Rapture - The Shock of The Lightning - I'm Outta Time - Come On Outside - Falling Down - To Be Where There Is Live (Richard Fearless version) - I Want To Live In A Dream In My Record Machine - Boy With The Blues

If ASGOG had been written in time (I don't know if it was) then I'd have replaced Boy With the Blues with it. If Oasis ever does get back together then I hope it becomes entirely Noel written albums. I've had enough of LAG tunes.

However, LAG sometimes can contribute great music like Songbird, Turn Up The Sun, I'm Outta Time so I am not against them writing as long as it doesn't leave stud like Noel tunes on the bench.

I don't want to sound like a music snob but I kind of hope Noel steers clear of his famous chord structure, which Dying of the Light is. It's a good tune but it always seems like it's just a bit too easy for Noel to just strum the same chords and produce another nice melody. I liked his songs on DOYS as I think some of them had slightly different tunings. If he makes more 'nice' safe music and let Dave Sardy make them sound like Coldplay I'll be a bit disappointed.

I agree 100% with freddy838. TDOTL has a chord progression similar to Wonderwall or If I Had A Gun. I think Noel melodies in NGHFB were good, but too safe. He should risk a lot more. Although I think that's not going to happen, maybe we'll get something a bit fresh or new from him.

So likely contenders are:
- Freaky Teeth - The Dying of The Light - God Help Us All - Come On Outside
