My first ever thread got a couple of guesses right about what would be on HFB1, so how about some thoughts on what might end up on the follow up, now that Noel might be getting it ready? I think definites are 'Revolution Song', 'Come On Outside', 'Let It Come Down Over Me' and a re-worked 'Freaky Teeth'. 'God Help Us All' and 'It Makes Me Wanna Cry' are decent bets. 'She Must Be One Of Us' is an outsider, maybe 'b' side in the same way 'Good Rebel' was. I think the 'different vibe' mentioned elsewhere will be a kind of electronic synth bassy sound in a kind of Kasabian way for things like 'Come On Outside'.

Come on outside,Freaky teeth and The dying of the light (or It makes me wanna cry) that is fucking brillant will be on the album,maybe Revolution song too,did he say he was working on it?
The others are just b-sides material

Hopefully they'll be fresh, new songs. I think Freaky Teeth/Revolution Song have had their day.
(But saying that, I guess Stop the Clocks/Record Machine were several years old before they showed up on an album.)

If the album is made up of songs that we've heard from soundchecks and demos that we aren't really supposed to have I hope we don't get people on here moaning about it and saying how the album was ruined for you. If it is ruined for you because of that then it's your own fault so go complain elsewhere.

But Noel said that STC and RM were the last parting oasis gifts to us fans. I think he's done with oasis leftovers, maybe it'll be a b side like TGR but that's about it.

A proper recorded version of God Help Us All is going to be mega. Mark my words. Needs to be on the album.

'She Must Be One Of Us' should defo be on the album, its a great track. One of the better ones IMO, be very surprised if he leaves it off. But then again this is Noel we're talking about, anythings possible.

Also what about Bye Bye My Family? Can't even imagine this track with any instrument other than an acoustic guitar. It needs to be very quiet intimate to impart the type of connection the song is meant for. |
