Similar to the "there I said it" idea in the Lounge but this time, all about Oasis. Express any blasphemy here, we will absolve you Here's mine... I love Familiar to Millions but I CAN'T STAND LIAM on this. His voice is really poor for 2000 and it spoils many of the songs. But moreover, watching the DVD he just kind of struts around with his sunglasses and jean jacket like that super annoying person you just want to punch in the mouth. It's even worse on the unreleased night. Not funny at all, just annoying. edit: to clarify... I've always liked Liam strutting around in any other gig but on this one it just annoys the heck out of me.

Anything from 2008/2009 is pretty dreadful. The band were spot on, Liam...not so much.

I dont like the way heathen chemistry or dbtt were mastered/mixed. it just sounds boring and controlled. HC worse of both it just sounds old(not litteraly) and dbtt sounds a bit muddy and vocal takes were pretty bad on some tracks, maybe not right words though.. stosog was very good and doys sounds much nicer as well despite liam having lost even more of his voice at the time I like those vocals to dbtt

I like Magic Pie and I think Heathen Chemistry and Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants are better than Don't Believe The Truth. There, I said it

the only 3 songs in the entire oasis catalog i hate are put your money where your mouth is , the quiet ones & the nature of reality.

don't like the songs Let's All Make Believe or Freaky teeth. one of my favorite HFB songs is I'd Pick You Everytime.
i'm not embarrassed, ashamed or say that revelatory but it does goes against what seems a lot of fans think. in fact i find opinions to the contrary baffling, i can kind of understand the love for Let's All Make Believe but it still doesn't do much for me.
God bless.

liam's vocals at roskilde 1995 are blissfully amazing, that's probably his best gig

tried it a hundred times but can't get through Be here now without thinking of other things. love the b-sides like Flashbax, but i FUCKING HATE Don't go away, you literally can hear the grease coming out the speakers. instead i really like "Magic Pie" and "fade in/out" cause these two songs, where different from the expectations of THE britpop record. these two showed a more psychedelic and mind opened way for me, instead of writing typical britpop ballads.

I got into the band b/c of the unplugged session, and have always found Liam to be dickhead who never came to grips with the fact that he needed Noel to be where he found himself. Ungrateful c.unt.
I don't get into C&A, but love Digsy's Diner.
The Swamp Songs on MG irk me, b/c the rest of the album is pure brilliance. If you wanted a 10 track album thats fine, but adding those two tracks was a waste of tape.
The Girl In The Dirty Shirt has been, at times, my fav BHN tune.
I was right pissed off when I listened to the back half of DOYS for the first time. It was the first time with Oasis that I had a true WTF? moment.
Oasis not coming to Texas often irks the hell out of me, and I am jealous of the English fans for getting so much Oasis love thrown about in media, live shows, appearances, etc.

She's Electric is one of their best songs. I don't really like Let's All Make Believe all that much. And the love Born On A Different Cloud sometimes gets on here boggles my mind.

I'd Pick You Everytime is a great song
The Good Rebel ranks as one of Noel's worst
Dig Out Your Soul's a boring disappointment
I think Oasis cared more about going on tour and getting cash that way than actually bothering to make another great album 2002 onwards.
Oasis split up at the right time - Dig Out Your Soul proved that they were just going through the motions, simply making albums just to go on tour. Shameful. And Noel's High Flying Birds was brilliant, made you think why Noel didn't bother to put that effort in for later period Oasis.
Oasis should NOT reunite.

I love the City of Manchester of Stadium gig from 2005, and I think that concert has the best versions of Acquiesce, Don't Look Back In Anger, and Live Forever to me. Noel was at his best that gig.

After SOTSOG Noel was afraid to experiment with the sound of the band, he did some new tricks on DOYS but not enough.

I actually think Noel's performance of WDIAGW on Jools Holland is pretty weak. His voice is very shaky, to say the very least.
There, I said it.
