I actually think Noel's performance of WDIAGW on Jools Holland is pretty weak. His voice is very shaky, to say the very least. Performance-wise, I agree, it leaves plenty to be desired (it is obvious Noel is nervous throughout). But as far as arrangements go, it's a beautiful one that I think STC tour Noel would have nailed.

DLBIA doesn't do anything for me, TM is far much better IMO.

I love Be Here Now.
I love Andy Bell as a bassist, and also his guitar playing and songwriting.
Wonderwall annoys the fuck out of me and if one more person sees me with my guitar and says, "oh, you like Oasis? You're a musician? Play Wonderwall!!!" I'm going to smash them over the head with it.
I love Liam's voice even when it actually sounds like shit, so much so that just the sound of it... well... it just does things to me. I love Noel's voice too but every time I listen to songs with a Noel vocal I hear it in my head with Liam's voice instead.
(As Long As They've Got) Cigarettes In Hell is my favorite Oasis song.
I've been an Oasis fan for 18 years and I own every album and single, but most of the time when I see abbreviations for song and album names on this forum, I have no fucking clue what they are.

Stop Crying Your Heart Out doesn't really do anything for me. I hardly, if ever, listen to it anymore.

Blur were better. Kidding! This one's pretty debatable really. Nothing they made will every be as great as Champagne Supernova and ect, but in their variety of great songs - Sing (Leisure), Beetlebum (Blur), Caramel (13).. They certainly go to a taste a little wider than Oasis ever did

For sure. I don't actually compare the two other than in jest. They're both terrific in their own ways.
(and btw, add Out of Time to your list and you just listed my 4 favorite Blur songs)

Don't believe the Truth is my least favorite album. The only great song is TIOBI. TUTS is good and LTBL has a really strong melody but lacks something. Lyla is okay, way better live and the rest i just find rather dull.
Ive never really got the fuss over 'Lets All Make Believe', its a good song but it doesn't do that much for me. And commenting on NL4E's comment above, that's the reason why i've always really liked that version, seems to make it more emotional.

I despise Wonderwall and always have, even before the hype, and I think Don't Look Back In Anger and Champagne Supernova are decent songs and I like them both, but neither would make my top 20.
Not really that keen on the Importance of Being Idle either, I don't hate it but it does nothing for me.

Agree with the last two comments I've never liked the SOTSOG setlist. A huge band with four albums of material to work from and they need to do two covers that aren't particularly good of songs imo that aren't as good as their own songs like Morning Glory, Slide Away, The Masterplan etc...

I love Heathen Chemistry, and everyone seems to hate it
I also love Liam's voice, even when he sounds bad
Noel's dvd is boring

I found it harder to love Oasis after Bonehead, Guigs and then Alan left.

Why have Oasis never released a good live CD? Familiar to Millions isn't even that good (incredibly average), doesn't even catch them close to their prime.
Give us live CDs from Maine Road on (a better gig than Knebworth apparently), Live Beside The Sea or MTV Unplugged.

I quit like Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is, it's groovy baby!
DBTT may be their best and most consistent album of the 00's, it has no really bad songs, but also not really great songs, the album is good but doens't blow my mind, even SOTSOG, which is weaker than DBTT, blows my mind.

Gas Panic and Bag it up are their best 00's songs.
I wouldn't mind never hearing Talk tonight and Half the world away live again, Noel should stop playing them.
I actually prefer SOTSOG to BHN.
Sunday morning call is the worst song they ever released.
I love The Nature of Reallity.
I felt hugely disappointed when they premiered the falling down video. I'm not really fond on the song neither, it always sounded to me like a poor Setting Sun.

The Turning is the best 00 Oasis tune, for me.

Be Here Now and Heathen Chemistry are my top two Oasis albums. Sometimes I skip through the beginning of Fade In-Out just to get to the scream (although I love the whole song too). I learned all the lyrics to I Am the Walrus from listening to Oasis's cover. I hate the bit with Lisa Moorish (I think??) on the end of the Fade Away warchild acoustic version. Especially because it's so perfect until that part. I could choke Noel a little bit for getting his eyebrows "done" so much this past year or so... just praying Liam doesn't get the notion to mess with his beautiful Gallagher monobrow

I love Thank You for the Good Times, especially the guitar part that plays near the end of the song. I sometimes tend to like the second era of Oasis to the original line-up, mostly because Gem is fantastic. Columbia, Acquiesce, Supersonic, Rock 'n' Roll Star, and Gas Panic! are better live for the most part. Oh, and the version of Gas Panic! from Familiar to Millions might be my favorite live performance from them.

I thought that the DOYS tour was the worst tour because of the loss of spontaneity. It seemed kinda like just a bunch of traveling musicians doing the exact same thing over and over again. Just going through the motions, with the only difference being whether or not Liam's voice was good or bad. Although the instruments may have been technically as good and tight as they had ever been, the passion seemed lost to me. Oh and Mucky Fingers is probably my least favorite song ever(besides maybe The Good Rebel), never understood why Noel likes it so much....
