Most of them based on one listen, mind you, but here goes:
FLW: 8/10
Millionaire: 5/10 - im not hearin why everyone is so excited about this one.
The Roller: 8/10
Beatles and Stones: 6/10
Wind Up Dream: 6/10 - was happily surprised with this one
BTL: 7/10 - has definitely grown on me over the weeks
For Anyone: 8/10 - but waaaay to short
Kill For a Dream: 9.5/10. The first track that made me go WOW.
SOTEOTN: 7/10 Liked it a lot better than I thought I would. Very SOTSOG in sound tho.
Wigwam: 9/10. Great tune. Very cool vocals by Liam. An epic closer for a concert.
3RC: 6/10. Thanks Gem for the tune. Kinda takes too long to get round to the hooks.
The Beat Goes On: 7/10. Not a bad tune. But it does go onnnnnn....... and on....... Meh.
Morning Son: 8/10: Love where it goes about 2 mins into it. And then changing at the end.... nice touch. "You go your way, I'll go mine". Very nice closer to album.
On the whole, its a solid album. I would mess the tracklisting around a bit though, and put Beatles/Stone and Wind Up Dream later...
Overall: 8/10 - So diverse.... thats the word Im going to use... which is a great thing.

I concur with your rankings. Spot on. Although I do like "Millionaire" a lot. But yes, diverse. Mega.

I would give TBGO at least a 9, dare I say possibly a 10. Best track on the album, IMHO.

That's more "rating" it than "ranking", isn't it? Eh, I suppose it's just semantics.

Wigwam is fucking bizarre. Starts off great but then descends into banal repetition for no reason. Could've been a really good song if Liam had bothered to finish it.

For Anyone is a more realized Songbird. Really beautiful and intimate and one of my faves.

its quite obvious that they excel at ballad style songs, the rockers are the weakest for me. Also Chris's drumming is amazing

Most of Liam's songs are unfinished.

Most of Liam's songs are unfinished. Also agree. Agreeing with you a lot. A lot of the songs are songs with great potential, but few them reach it. Dodgy songwriting, and flat lyrics, which dont match the momentum that the music is trying to create. Hard for me to give this album above a 7.5/10. Thats' why I'll give it a 7/10. Only 3 truly great songs for me on this album. The rest are either a mix of okay and varying shades some what good. edit: reserve the right to edit my rating with more listens, but after 2. This is what I've got.

Just finished my 2nd listen --
FLW: 7/10 Solid rocker.
Millionaire: 5/10 Exists. That's all it does.
The Roller: 8/10 Most instantly catchy song of the bunch.
Beatles and Stones: 6.5/10 Solid rocker, not quiiiiite as good as FLW.
Wind Up Dream: 6 Slightly better than Millionaire but nothing stands out.
BTL: 4/10 Would be good without shit/repetitive lyrics.
For Anyone: 4/10 Not feeling this at all. Super wimpy song and Liam's vocals sound heavily edited.
Kill For a Dream: 9/10 Great song. Well done guys!
SOTEOTN: 3/10 This just sounds like the middle of the noise, not the edge. Worst on the album i'd say.
Wigwam: 9.25/10 Another great one. Love the arrangement - drums especially.
3RC: 7.5/10 This would be an 8 if it wasn't so damn repetitive. Went from fun to "god damn, how many times are they going to say that?".
The Beat Goes On: 6/10 This one's not bad, just a typical ballad really.
Morning Son: 8/10 Musically very good, but too repetitive to earn a higher mark.
Overall it feels like a 7/10. Not great, but definitely above average.

#01) Three Ring Circus (9.0 out of 10) #02) The Roller (8.5 out of 10) #03) The Beat Goes On (8.5 out of 10) #04) Millionaire (8.0 out of 10) #05) Wigwam (7.5 out of 10) #06) The Morning Son (7.5 out of 10) #07) Four Letter Word (7.0 out of 10) #08) Kill For A Dream (7.0 out of 10) #09) Wind Up Dream (6.5 out of 10) #10) For Anyone (6.0 out of 10) #11) Beatles & Stones (5.5 out of 10) #12) Bring The Light (5.5 out of 10) #13) Standing On The Edge Of The Noise (5.0 out of 10)
A few notes I'd like to point out... * - I'm pleasantly surprised with Three Ring Circus. I wasn't expecting it to be my top pick. I'm very thrilled about that! * - Even though the first half is hard to get through and the second half sounds like a slight attempt at recreating a Hey Jude for this generation, Wigwam is probably the most re-inventive song on the album. I can't stop listening to it. * - Strangely enough, The Morning Son reminds me of 'Just Getting Older' but a lot more ambitious. * - For the most part, the production for the album is amazing. That being said, what the hell happened with SOTEOTN? Did they let Liam's son produce it or something? * - In the end, the biggest thing that has surprised me with the album is how well it flows. It's so diverse and feels like it just "came together", y'know?

people who think for anyone is too short are clueless. For Anyone was one of the few that I had rated highly. 8/10 yeah i'm not listening to the rest. But pop songs like for anyone are hard to do and awesome. Hooks like that are difficult to come by. that's what i love about how this record sounds (going be clips except the relased), it's a pop/rock n roll album (which is a good thing, beatles/beach boys are pop in my mind). Not just a bunch of heavy guitars. It's fun too. as rock n roll should be. i know you say there's some songwriting problems, i don't know i haven't heard but, i think it'd expect that. And when it comes to liam songs being unfinished...i think liam always cuts stuff short. That's how it works for him. He doesn't belabor a tune like noel would. I dig it.

FLW 7.5/10 Millionaire 7.5/10 TR 7.5/10 BaS 5/10 WUD 6.5/10 BTL 6.5/10 FA 8/10 KFAD 7.5/10 SOTEOTN 6.5/10 Wigwam 9/10 TRC 8/10 TBGO 9.5/10 TMS 8/10
I'd give this album an 8/10. I like how the songs are sequenced. The album was generally strong without much weak moments. And I like these kind of albums, with sweet melodies and bright mood. Much better than HC, better than DOYS and DBTT because WUD thankfully covered up for the weak middle part pretty well. As good as SOTSOG for me.
After the second listen I modified the ratings.

Four Letter Word- 8.0/10 Still like this song. Wish the lyrics had been stronger
Millionaire- 6.5/10 Just not that good of a song.
The Roller-7.5/10 Still a pretty banal ballad to be.
B&S-6.0/10 Pretty bad attempt at an old school rocker
WUD- 7.0/10 Had a lot of potential, but that potential was never realized. Should have been a lot better. Just never truly went anywhere.
BTL- 6.5/10 same as B&S
For Anyone-8/10 One of the few songs that I have rated highly. A really great song that should be released as a single.
KFAD-7.5/10 Another song that just never realized its potential. It just never went anywhere.
SOTEOTN-5/10 Got nothing to say about this other than, it was pretty bad and my ears slapped me for even listening to it.
Wigwam-9/10 The best song on the album. The song starts in a muddle and it sounds just plain lost, but "I;m comings" along with the great drums by Chris. Saved the song in the end and made it truly great. Probably the only song that got to its potential.
3RC-7/10 Just never really got this song. I just couldnt see what they were trying to do. Didnt stick with me.
TBGO-7.5/10 This song was the most disappointing. Mainly, because it starts out so good. It builds and it builds and builds, but unfortunately NO BIG CHORUS CAME. This song was meant for a big chorus. There are so many great parts to this song, but when you build up for a large chorus and you dont give one, then you've done a huge dis-service to the song. Of all the songs on this album. This one was truly lost potential.
Morning Son 7.5/10 I've seen a ton of people who like this song. Its okay. It gets waaaayyyyyyyy to repetitive for me, unfortunately.
Overall a, solid album. But not really much to rave about. To me there were 3 really good songs, and the rest were some what forgettable. 7.0/10 for me. The story of this album is really lost potential.
NOTE: I reserve the right to change my rating upon further listens.

after two listens
FLW-8/10 Millionaire-6.5/10 The Roller-8/10 B&S-5/10 WUD-5/10 BTL-6.5/10 For Anyone-7.5/10 KFAD-7/10 SOTEOTN-5/10 Wigwam-9/10 3RC-8/10 TBGO-7/10 TMS-9/10
overall a 7/10 about what I expected. Good album nothing amazing but there are amazing moments within the album.

I dont think TBGO needs a big chorus, the one its got is great, big chorus often make things a bit cheesy. I know a lot of the great Oasis songs have big chorus but I personally realy love the way they have made TBGO

1.Four Letter Word. 7/10 2.Millionaire 7/10 3.The Roller 5/10 4.Beatles and Stones 6.5/10 5.Wind Up Dream 7 6.Bring the Light 7 (grew on me a lot for some strange reason) 7.For Anyone 6 8.Kill for a Dream 8 9.Standing on the Edge of the Noise 7 (the vocal effects, man! good rocker and could've been better without them) 10.Wigwam 9 11.Three Ring Circus 8 12.The Beat Goes On 9 13.The Morning Son 10
The second half is just beautiful, overall a much better album than I thought or even hoped. Been listening on repeat for the last couple of hours and I'm still caught up in the whole thing, the ratings may change after a couple of spins. But for now, great album.
