Funny thing is it's completely true as I know fuck loads of Man U fans that have gone over to OT to see Man U and been disapointed with a complete lack of atmosphere because everyone else in the ground was (like them) a tourist. You all love your Norwich scarves anyway...... Norwich scarves look great

Yeah, alright then. Old Trafford is full of tourists. I suppose you would know best when it comes to the out-of-towners, living in Ireland and all. Been to any Newcastle games recently?

Of course I don't get to games that often (last time was 4 years ago) but at least when I go to a match the place is full of Geordies

I've two mate's who are Man United fans that go to every home game and every away game when they can.
One is from manchester, the other from down south, both sit in the stretford end and both say the atmosphere is often poor from big areas of the ground.
Its not a insult to be honest, just a consequence of being a global brand. And with the success of United in the last 15 years is anyone really that bothered?

Yeah, one Irish lad among 50,000 Geordies is the same thing as 1 manc among 80,000 foreigners at OT.... Granted, United has more than its fair share of out-of-town support, but if you genuinely believe that 80,000 of them descend upon Manchester for every home game, then you were probably also deluded enough to believe that Alan Shearer would do enough to keep you in the Premiership.

United were lucky, Milan never made the most of our mistakes. Garbage referee too. Helped us out by not sending Rio off, mind you.
Once again, Fletch shows he's a fecking monster against the big 'uns. And he was playing on the left?! Take a bow son.
Seedorf's beautifully taken goal sours the final score, but who wouldn't have taken that before the match?

best team won today. No excuses. Chelsea were all over United in the first half and most of the 2nd half. United were awful!

Fuck, I'm glad you guys are out. Not so much because of me wanting United to lose most the times, but because Barça are now undisputed favourites to win it.
Plus, I think people from Madrid dislike Bayern way more than they do United. A Bayern - Barça final in Madrid would be their nightmare, and my wet dream, it's a lose - lose for them.

I'm convinced that I could watch Manchester United for another two hundred years and never discover a player I love more than Paul Scholes. We ought to name a fucking stand after that man.
