Hope not. Not that they are all bad, but why? The Oasis songs are more popular, and get the best reception, and his solo album is what he's promoting. The general public that are going to these gigs know Oasis songs, and may now know solo songs. Beady Eye songs are completely unrelated and unlikely to get a big reception bar a few hardcore fans. If he's trying to put together the setlist that gets the biggest reaction, they won't be on it....

Just so thankful that I got to see him on my birthday in Chicago. I would've been pissed if he cancelled, so I can definitely understand fans anger towards it. It's obvious that he shouldn't be doing so many gigs in a short time span, but I guess that's the financial viability of the tour. It still absolutely sucks that he gave such little notice, and the playing in New York and Tonight Show make this look even worse.

There were so many people on this forum saying he fucked up If I Had a Gun and The Dying Of the Light in the recorded versions. So he releases an awesome live recording of Dead in the Water and now there are some clamoring for a studio recorded version? What the actual fuck? The way the song is now captures more emotion than a studio recording ever could. I love the way Dying of the Light was recorded just as I loved the souncheck version. This is a great song, and it could benefit from a studio recording as well, it's not like this one will ever be deleted. If I Had a Gun was a huge disappointment, tho...

That 8 minute segment had more Alan White than the entire Oasis documentary did....

I don't care about the direction, to me the song quality isn't there...

Based on the highs, which is usually what I remember about an album: Chasing Yesterday, NGHFB, WBTM.

I was actually surprised he did Live Forever in Chicago because it sounded like Wonderwall got the louder reaction. Overall a great show. The sound in that venue is horrible, but it is what it is. Liam's voice is definitely getting worn out but we all expected that to happen. He also kept moving his monitors so that they were closer to him. The venue was packed and close to sold out. I hope the success of this US tour means more dates next year. Live Forever got a much larger cheer than Wonderwall. I agree that the sound wasn't very good, but I still enjoyed it very much

I was at the Minneapolis gig. I thought Liam looked a lot older in person than he does in pictures, not sure why. It did feel a bit strange to me that the majority of his set is songs penned by Noel. I get that he sang them, but given the hatred between them it feels a bit strange. Warbly Jets who I had never heard of actually had a great set. The lead singer is trying hard to be Richard Ashcroft. I thought the Warbly Jets were pretty bad. Although sound might have been an issue...

really? because it's one of the most overplayed songs of all time, and has been played live on almost every tour since 95. he's playing only 14 songs. so if he puts in wonderwall then that means he takes out another oasis classic to make room for it. give me some might say over wonderwall any day of the week. If you read my previous post to the one you quoted, I wasn’t suggesting taking anything out for Wonderwall. I was suggesting adding Wonderwall so the set is a little longer. And, again, I think a good portion of his U.S. crowds would really like it (if you see the Chicago video, it actually sounded fairly split between Wonderwall and Live Forever... I’m saying do both). The fan reaction wasn't really split. Live Forever got a much bigger cheer. That's why he joked Wonderwall, then said he was kidding...

I used to think so. But usually time heals wounds, in this case it seems to be deepening them. I don't think so. The mutual dislike of each of each other is too personal and real at this point.

Honestly my first impression is that the songs on this album are lower quality then his prior 2 releases. There's still quality on it of course, but I'm kinda underwhelmed. Maybe it will grow on me with more listens, who knows?

I need his next record to be this. Stripped down acoustic and piano. Record it once, no fuss and no over production shit he likes to pile on. This sounds amazing and is the first song from WBTM that has given me chills and made me excited. Go figure. yes, that's what I've been saying. his voice fits best these type of songs and are more pleasing in sound rather than HM or Fly, which sound too forced and uninspired I actually think his voice lets down the songs I've heard from WBTM (excluding DITW). It's just where his vocal strengths are....

While we’re at it, can we get a Winds of Winter too, please? That book is never gonna come. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it

Ok I like this song but what was the point in that spoken French part!?! Seems so out of place and pointless. What a killer melody though, love the bass in this so much It ruins it for me. Not gonna lie, if it wasn't there, I might be listening to it on repeat right now...

that forum never fails to deliver. 10 seconds of a song and people calling it the best thing since sliced bread. Somehow people got the same thing from Holy Mountain...

But isn't it fair to say that given free rein Trump would make things worse for many millions of people from a health care perspective? Don't you hope for something better than either option? I'm no Trump fan. And the ACA did some very good things. But Medicaid is utter shit and I'm going to be well fucked. Surely we can do better than the ACA? Obamacare was partisan, not gaining a single Republican vote....that's ignoring half of the country's concerns right there. You do realize that ACA was heavily compromised with what Romney was proposing at the time. And you are going to be fucked because of what the Republicans want to do with health care. I know ACA wasn't perfect, but it could be improved. YOu're not gonna get anything the way things are going...

I'm actually really happy with what he was come up with with regard to Oasis songs and overall setlist. Never thought I'd ever hear Some Might Say, and hopefully looking forward to hearing it live in 2 weeks!

If they can do it with the energy the 1997 tour had, and as good as they do BHN it'd be awesome! Don't think it's a big enough tune that he'll bring it out tho

So, America, how are we going to celebrate the one year anniversary of Donald Trump’s being elected president tonight? Feeling great yet? God bless the United States. As someone who is going through and having difficulty with our healthcare system, I can't believe that you still support this moron. And yeah its going about as well as expected with having a moronic, unpredictable, con-artist, hate mongering bigot as the leader of the free world. I am a changed person due to all the stress I've had because of this situation. And not for the better.

Good instinct on melody, which allows him to play very good riffs and patterns that sound amazing, but aren't difficult. Or at least he used to play those. Now he's now of a solid rhythm guitarist....

Nothing wrong with Russell Prichard. Wasn't a big fan of Andy on the bass anyway, even though its not like Oasis required a savant on the instrument....
