You are aware this is an Oasis-and-related-projects forum, yeah? Liam's album sold over 100k units in its first week, in an increasingly shrinking market for physical media. It has a score of 71 on Metacritic (currently higher than either NGHFB release, though of course time may level them out). You can enjoy the interview all you like, but unpopular, it isn't. And of course Noel is free not to want to pal around with his brother. If mine called my wife a "shit Meg", I wouldn't feel very friendly towards him, either. Who exactly is arguing that he is wrong to take that attitude? Sales isn’t a judge of quality. Liam sold well because he had promoted it for months and months and used every trick to sell his album, including getting in papers by slagging his brothers family off. I bought the album but I don’t rate it now, and people I know say the same. Just talking from personal experience. Metacritic score means little, he promoted and gave interviews everywhere so guaranteed at least a decent score. Liams album is of Beady Eye quality. Even the shit songwriter from Cherry Ghost (who) couldn't save it.

Really? Treading the Oasis act still would be dull and tired. Liams gigs are Oasis rehashes and his new stuff is latter Oasis fare. Oasis were great in their day but by the end they were dieing and needed culling. You know you're on an Oasis fan forum right? And Oasis were cracking in their day......20 years ago. Things have moved on musically and with the band. I don't want to go to a 90s night with Liam trying to recreate old classics and bringing in a co-writer to get the Oasis sound back. It's shit.

I just got back from work. Wow. I can't be arsed reading 7 pages of this. I really don't recommend it. Much like not reading Trumps Twitter.

20odd years after Oasis? Liams gigs are no more than an Oasis tribute act. "Nowaysis". Better than being a Dolly Parton tribute act. Really? Treading the Oasis act still would be dull and tired. We can disregard the arguments about who wrote the songs, who has said what in an interview and whose album is better. There is something very few can deny... At this moment in time, the closest people can get to the Oasis live experience is a Liam gig, not a Noel one. 20odd years after Oasis? Liams gigs are no more than an Oasis tribute act. "Nowaysis".

Liam knows that he isn't a songwriter, everybody knows that and everybody accept that. So I really don't understand why Noel (and other people) keep saying that. It's like saying to a goalkeeper that he never scores. It's really stupid. Probably because Liams firing all sorts of "beige" insults out..

Do Noel fans not realise how fucking boring it is to constantly talk about the liam fans on here in this patronising, condescending way? If its like you say then all of you have 40k a year jobs and quietly taking a break from getting a blow job off your P.A to put us liam fans who are slaving away in a factory or better still on the fucking dole watching tipping point, in our place. 70k a year, mate.

The OasisBrazil guy said it was going to be released on the 10th. He’s reliable. Noel himself also told a couple of fans. Noel talks shit 90% if the time.

It strange, I think the general public are immune to the fact the US is close to a nuclear war with NK. Trump is making the situation 10x worse. As much as healthcare is important, it won't matter at all when Trump is causing a nuclear world war which is much closer than it was this time last year.

Alarm bells, scissors, sun glasses, Bono, HM. What's our "Noel hate" roulette landed on today? You must have done quite well on your own hate bingo board today. Seen at least two from you. I don't sleep for that bingo board.

I got the album. 1) Holy Mountain is the best and worst song on it. 2) Dave Sardy plays the stapler on two tracks. 3) The alarm clock rings throughout. Sad thing is, there are people on here that would enjoy that horrific alarm clock all the way through the album. And they'd be condescending about how you "just don't get it." Alarm bells, scissors, sun glasses, Bono, HM. What's our "Noel hate" roulette landed on today?

It's not a production issue, just too much compression for songs that aren't balls to the wall rock. The compression is terrible on a lot of modern music.

The biggest problem is it's a turgid boring song. Really shows up if you're on youtube or spotify and it comes on automatically after Noel's new songs. My god it sounds soooooooo slow and dull. Written by Cherry Ghosts songwriter which says it all.

Any song apart from For What It's Worth which is just pure turgid rubbish. Part of the problem is the strings aren't as prominent as they should be. Too far down in the mix. If you're going there, go all the way there. The biggest problem is it's a turgid boring song.

Even though the post is fake I think you might be right on the money here. At least, I hope that's the case cause it would sound grand.
I hope I'm right mate, strings can power up any song. And thinking of Everybody's On The Run,they use a keyboard on the string bit live,so maybe Im not that far away from the reality lol Any song apart from For What It's Worth which is just pure turgid rubbish.
