Oi, Noel, man made global warming isn’t real. Next thing you say is that the moonlanding was fake... Ffs The world is flat.

I really like this one - it is another What a Life type song. Some say it goes nowhere, but I think that is exactly the point with these tunes. It's got subtleties and intricacies and incredible pacing that make it brilliant. It doesn't matter it doesn't "go anywhere", it's everything else that makes the song. For all of Noels plodding ballads and "FWIW" type of songs, this is a million miles from them.

Sounds drab as fuck to me. Noel-by-numbers acoustic B-side/bonus track material. He's probably thrown away better songs, hence why it was almost forgotten about. Yeah, what we've heard isn't doing anything for me either. 90s Noel whereas 2017 Noel has just blown us away with IABW.

The more I listen to IABW the more I think it's absolutely brilliant. The production and pace is just top notch and so is the melody. It's stunning actually. Futuristic Noel Gallagher.

Agreed but IABW is brilliant. Honest question, why do people like Alone on The Rope so much? I love it, it's hazy and dreamy. I had it on repeat for months.

Fantastic! Best solo song yet! Alone On The Rope is still his best I believe. Agreed but IABW is brilliant.

Although the French bit is saying the world is ending so I think it's more of a sarcastic song. I like to think Charlotte and her loudspeaker represent the media, bellowing negativity and panic into our everyday lives. Probably more like Trump.

I do love the message of the song. Sick of people being down about "the world". Your world is your fucking world. No one elses. Let the shit out of your control sort itself out, it always does. Although the French bit is saying the world is ending so I think it's more of a sarcastic song.

Coldplay could only dream about doing a song as catchy and interesting as this.

Still not sure what I think of the French part. I mean, it makes me think of caro, but other than thât what’s the point? It's the antithesis to the actual song. The words in French, the world is dying (or something like that).

David Holmes wrote 90% of it. In all honesty though, Noel is some songwriter, isn't he?

He'll go back to writing songs on his own, away from the studio after this album.

Perhaps time to review your paranoia and conspiracy theories? Liam has been doing a lot of sucking up for this album, is that why it has good reviews? All the reviews I've seen of "As You Were" are poor to middling. Perhaps you would be kind enough to post some links to a few decent reviews. Perhaps because it's a poor to middling album?!

On a scale of 1-10, personally speaking, I'm at about a 5 or 6 in anticipation. That's about it. Worst ever for a Gallagher release. What a surprise.

If people are getting a copy, then why hasn't it leaked. And why does she have it? Err because Noels her uncle?
