It's better than Kasabian, thats for fucking sure. Some of you need to come off that average band. Good tracks on a the Twang album but far away from the perfect quality Kasabian Album. And this band is not underated, they've got solids two or three tracks but they've got a real problem in the composition and voices. It's boring after 2 listennings.

Some nice ideas... But you need to work a lot on the composition.

Awesome Album ![](http://walrusmusicblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/thebigpink.jpg) 1.Crystal Visions 2.Too Young to Love 3.Dominos 4.Love in Vain 5.At War with the Sun 6.Velvet 7.Golden Pendulum 8.Frisk 9.A Brief History of Love 10Tonight 11.Count Backwards from Ten A Brief History of Love is the debut album from electro-rock duo The Big Pink. The album is set for release on September 14, 2009 on 4AD. The Big Pink signed with 4AD in February 2009[1], and won the prestigious NME Philip Hall Radar Award for best new act.[2] The band were also named as "one of the most likely breakout acts of 2009" by the BBC.[3] Prior to the album's release, the band issued three singles: "Too Young to Love"/"Crystal Visions" on the House Anxiety label in October 2008, "Velvet" on 4AD in April 2009, and the non-album track "Stop the World" in June 2009. "Dominos," the album's first proper single and the band's fourth single overall, precedes the album on September 7th. Milo Cordell stated that the band produced the album themselves at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, and Rich Costey mixed the album.[4] Cordell also told BBC 6 Music how A Brief History of Love came to be the title for the release: Every song is a love song to some degree, about every different aspect of love... The good, the bad, the boring, the exciting, the dreams, the nightmares, the whole thing and I guess that's what encompasses the whole album, and we have a song called "A Brief History of Love" so it's apt.![](http://www.undertheradarmag.com/uploads/article_images/BigPink550D7114rgb.jpg)

Sounds alright. Nothing new or exciting, just your typical generic Ian Brown song. I haven't seen a signature like yours since a long time. Ahahahahahahahahaha fabulous !

She's only working for the Q magazine. I wouldn't bother posting any insider info even if it was true curlies. Why should anyone believe you? Just coz she said in August 2008 (two different covers) it was for the Q magazine. Get Off your High Horse Lady just because she knew the tracklisting... and the last time we saw her.... it was for a Noel Statue... (the new Q magazine front cover)... what else ? She is just a journalist and she wants to play with us...

The band got the song writing, the producer got the soul. The producer influence is very important.
(quellophant) there is no hype for the kasabian album... They swin on an empty sea... Absolutely no concurence. They just got a solid new album like the doves. A solid album where every tracks are great is absolutely amazing from our time.
