I would love the Finsbury Park concerts (or at least one of them) to be released on dvd and it's 20 years next year since those concerts. So that would be a good time to release one of them.

But I would prefer just one concert and maybe some of the songs from the other two as extras.

They need to release a box set, similar to how the stones did for 40 Licks dvds

Yeah, I would love that. But sadly I don't think that it will happen though.

I think they'll release the gig too. It will be a bit daft of them if they don't

I think they'll release the gig too. It will be a bit daft of them if they don't Gotta flog as much merch as you can, especially to the dinosaur Oasis fan base that love physical mediums. Me included. - Blu Ray of Doc - DVD of Doc - Digital copy of Doc - Rental of Doc - CD of live album - 4 LP vinyl - 2 cassette live album - Knebworth t-shirt (both versions: I Was There and I couldn’t get tickets!) - Gig poster - mini bag of actual garbage from grounds post gig

I think they'll release the gig too. It will be a bit daft of them if they don't I think whatever consent that was holding them back from releasing it (whether it was from Whitey or Guigsy) might have been resolved now especially with Alan White posting so many videos of him drumming to Oasis on Instagram.

I know the big fans like us lot would buy the documentary, but what casual (even if they went to the gig) would buy it? I don't think that many. But I think they would buy the actual gig
Hopefully released in 4K (if that's possible)

(EC and MR filmed on tape not film so stuck at SD for all eternity!).

Assuming they want to hit the actual 25th anniversary day/week, a mid June announcement is a must. And you are right, the Noel best of press tour will only help promote that Oasis mega release.

But I think they would buy the actual gig Hopefully released in 4K (if that's possible) There is potentially a decent-ish market for the doc if it's entertaining -- going for the Supersonic audience. (Most people won't buy any DVD, but streaming deals will be made ... ) Either way there are separate factors involved in whether or not they release the gig. We should soon find out.

It’s now or never to release an album of the gig. 25 years feels and sounds right. I don’t really care about a doc about people traveling to and from Knebworth. I want the music.

Well, the doc is being released regardless (and it's really not now or never, there will be another moment of hoopla at 30 needing goodies...yikes, 30!), but we also truly don’t know what it is. It’s not just going to be people on a train, I’m sure of that, but it might be a mix of vintage behind-the scenes footage of the band with some now-and-then interviews of fans intercut with the live show… just one of many possibilities. Don't despair yet!

Yeah I want the music and/or the video too. I could care less about the documentary. Small anecdote: A few years back I had a friend who is a casual fan watch the Supersonic documentary with me and then the footage from Manchester 2005. At the end of Manchester 2005 I asked which was better. The friend said Manchester 2005 was better and way more entertaining than the Supersonic documentary. This isn't definitive proof of anything but it does show that the casual fan might still find footage of the actual shows more appealing than a documentary. I think whether or not someone was there could play a role in that too.

Least we forget, the footage of the gigs has been edited and been ready to be released since 2006. The Champagne Supernova video released in Stop the Clocks DVD is an example of how it looks:
Noel himself has also said years ago that the material is ready to go AND that it will eventually be released "in some anniversary".
