I don't want to see actors playing Liam or Noel either, but I'd like to see Liam and Noel try acting They need to be themselves ... they can't be no one else. How about using the deepfake tech? Mind if Noel's in control he can make Liam say and do as he wishes...

The only problem with an Oasis biopic, is that there isn't really a proper ending... Nobody dies, nobody gets back together. It's just in that weird limbo where they aren't speaking but Liam keeps asking him to come back. How would a biopic actually end on screen? go full inglorious bastards and have them reunite at one love

Owner of said hand opts to display balance. Camera swing reveals Guigsy laughing his cap off and raising his hands to the sky. End credits.

Let's hope it will be the concert itself, instead of Noel returning to Knebworth, and answering stupid questions by fans.

Would make sense if they released the gig + documentary together.

It's the gig. That's what he said on BBC Radio 2.

The documentary could be interesting too if there is a lot of backstage footage of the band.

Well whatever it is whether it's the gig or the documentary I will buy it. But I hope that it's both.

Was thinking last night. Imagine this Kosmic Kite was a company so Oasis could start releasing all their gigs that have been filmed. Fantasy I know ...

I wonder what other concerts after Knebworth could get a release.
Maybe a rerelease of There and Then? Or boxset with 2 nights at both Earls Court and Maine Road? Or isn't that realistic?
I wonder if Live by the Sea, There and Then and Familiar to Millions will get a rerelease some day.
Maybe Finsbury Park some day? Was that professionaly filmed for a release?

Live by the Sea, There and Then, and Familiar to Millions could all get released in BluRay. I’d love to see There and Then especially on BluRay but I’d love a proper CD and BluRay release of both nights at Maine Road. After that a few gigs from the 1994-1996 period (Maybe GMEX 97).
I dunno if the interest is there from the casual fans for the later stuff.
I think it would be really cool if Oasis started a live album series and released a live album every year. Something for the fans to look forward to and they could rerelease the merch for that gig (similar to Tuesday’s Maine Road release) and everything.
Imagine a boxset of the Maine Road gigs for example: Both nights on CD Both nights on BluRay (maybe even a 30 minute doc with recollections from the bad) Programme reprint Coffee table book with photos from both nights T-shirt Keyring and badges A4 Print
Now imagine a set like that every 12 months with classic gigs?

Just release the gigs to download. Saves them money spending to get things printed etc. It's mad this day and age not to do that for every gig tbh

I def want a live CD or vinyl with this. Prob won’t happen but it’s a fucking crime that familiar to millions is their only official live album representation of the band. Wasn’t even the classic lineup. Weird.

I read rumours about Finsbury Park official release around 2002-2003? on this forum, but seems cancelled.

Don't know, but I would be cool if for example starting from 2024, release a 30-year old gig. In 2024 one from 1994, 2025 one from 1995... No need for a big release like hopefully they will do with Knebworth (regular, deluxe and super deluxe version with vinyl, bluray, cd, cassette, t-shirt, poster, key ring, guitar picks, replica of Liam''s coat and glasses and a piece of Boneheads hair), but just a digital release or low key release with just a 2cd/dvd. I'm sure that there is a lot of money to be made if they did that. Look at all those live releases by the Rolling Stones.

I read rumours about Finsbury Park official release around 2002-2003? on this forum, but seems cancelled. Yeah that was a huge rumor 16-17 years ago. Never materialized despite a lot of hot rumors and “insider” info being shared on all the Oasis forums at the time.
