This is purely practical, ensuring they each make money efficiently from whatever they're planning from Knebworth.
They both know their value is linked to their brother, so this is smart management more than anything else.

Being together in some project is more interesting thing that some kind of movie stuff it's related here. Do you understand - Noel and Liam are working together in 2021. That's what could make sense

They're not going to be working together in a traditional sense- there's a project about Oasis and the most tax efficient way for them to do something is through this production company that has been set up by their respective management.

Really hope there arenβt too many fan stories as just find these a bit boring to be honest. Cheap way to fill running time.
In fact, by this point I think Iβd be more interested in a gig like the Cardiff JILY one. Knebworth was Oasisβ Shea Stadium - their biggest gig but a long way from their best.

Itβs 100% Knebworth related. The Oasis social media posts a few weeks back all but confirm it. Itβs not new Oasis material or reunion. I wanna be clear about that. Yes I agree. This is still their pinned tweet: I really hope theyβve sorted out the rights issue with Guigsy etc. It would be ridiculous for the rest of the band to be airbrushed out like in Supersonic! Also, I really hope they release the documentary that was filmed along with the gig itself. That sounded amazing. X Yeah, I agree with you about the rights issue with Guigsy etc. It won't be the same without them and a bit stupid if they're not shown in the gig itself and there will be no point in releasing it.

I am looking forward to this release though but I don't want too much fan stuff either. However one of the Knebworth gigs in full and in good quality would be great. A documentary would be interesting about the concerts as long as it doesn't out stay it's welcome.

Given that they put out requests for Knebworth stories a few weeks ago and Liam's response to being asked about a "Knebworth thing" was "what Knebworth film?" then obviously it's a Knebowrth film of some description. I don't really want to see another documentary about that time because it's covered in Live Forever and in Supersonic. Just give us a good recording.

Naming a business can be difficult, but a good first rule is to try to not make it rhyme with shite. X

I donβt want a new documentary, but if they release Knebworth I really want them to include the Operation Gold documentary that was filmed at the time of the gigs but is unreleased. Noel: βWe made a film of Knebworth. Itβs called Operation Gold β a documentary thatβs never been put out. There were 15 cameramen travelling with fans on the train from all over the country, they filmed the police meeting rooms and all that. It cost us a fortune to make β it will probably get released on some anniversary. The gig was recorded properly with cameramen in the crowd filming from the fansβ point of view. We were going to release it as a live album but I said it was too soon. But I think people will want to look back on Knebworth and say, βYeah, that was quite mental what happened to all of us.ββ (quoted in John Robbβs The North Will Rise Again: Manchester Music City (1977-1996), p. 380) X

Hard to know if Operation Gold was ever actually edited into something releasable--and especially something that would be well-regarded all this time later-- but if you were going to make a contemporary doc, that footage would surely be the starting point. I know some are jaded about Knebworth, but IF that film comes out in any form, it's hard to see how never-before-seen footage wouldn't be of major value to most Oasis fans ... I mean unless it's Kosmic Shyte.

I would love to see that Operation Gold documentary but if they do release it or an other documentary then I hope that they will do what they did with the Lord Don't Slow Me Down documentary deluxe version and release one of the concerts as a bonus dvd as that would be great. But at the moment it's anyone's guess if we'll get that.

I'm hoping Liam and Noel suddenly decided they should make an action movie or romantic comedy or something no-one's expecting from them

Whatever happened to that Beatles film Liam was involved with? I recall he set up a production company and werenβt BDI going to do the soundtrack, but it went nowhere right? X

Yeah, I remember that Beatles film which Liam was involved with and it's a shame that it never saw the light of day as I would have loved to have heard the music which Beady Eye were going to write for it.

I always thought it was weird Liam announced that film at the Cannes Film Festival back in 2010. Itβs not like the project was anywhere close to being a go. Big whiff.

Liam spoke that he wanted Johnny Depp to play Derek Taylor and for Beady Eye to do the soundtrack. Not sure how that would have worked. Beady doing Beatles covers? That would have been strange. Granted I know their music would be very pricey!

Noel has that failed movie project too, let's hope this film (whatever it'll be) will turn out better!
