10 years ago we had gotten these teasers and tomorrow we will have heard Bring The Light for the first time, what are some Beady Eye memories you have or thoughts after all this time? <3 <3 I remember the hype I felt when I saw that clip Edit: Sorry if I'm replying to too old posts.. Me too!......and the the slap into the face, when they released bring the light, which was so different.

Reading through this thread I have mixed feelings. It brought back some great memories of gigs in Dublin and Belfast but man am I starting to feel old BE were certainly of their time. They did have some banging tunes across their two albums... FLW, Morning Son, Flick Of The Finger, Soul Love. Certainly would have passed the mustard for Oasis records back in the day. The B-Sides, few in number as they were, were decent also. I think Noel mentioned in an interview that most of the songs on DGSS were either demoed or floating around before Oasis broke up? However there was some filler across the two albums and neither of them could be described as classics. BE probably fell between the stools of not being original enough to attract a host of new fans and not 'Oasis' enough to bring across the old fans. For this reason I think they will remain a footnote in the history of Oasis. I don't think Liam or the rest of the band members would have been satisfied with playing smaller venues. I think there was a sense towards the end of the BE tour that the air had gone out of it somewhat. Still nothing ventured, nothing gained. That being said, I have barely listened to any BE material since they broke up (in 2014?). This thread has whetted my appetite, I may just throw some of the tunes on!

I think we need a Beady Eye best of for next year's Record Store Day.
