He still looks and sounds great. Would be happy to see him, he would make Liams 'Oasis Reunion' far more legit.

He has aged by far the best of anyone from Oasis... looks like he is in his 30's

Yeah whatever he's been up to he's clearly taken care of himself.

Alan will always remain my drummer when I think of Oasis.

Alan will always remain my drummer when I think of Oasis. Have to say i agree. I know some think Chris was better at the handling the catalog as a whole, especially things from Tony’s era, but I never saw them live. So I’ve only got a valid opinion on recordings, and for that it goes to Alan hands down IMO. Admittedly he had better material to play than Zak and Chris, but he rose to the challenge.

Alan was the drummer of Oasis when they mattered to the world the most. Their apex mountain. Their Zenith. How can I name another?

I really don't want to kill your vibe, but that's not Alan - that's Valtteri Bottas. Would he be involved if Oasis were to reform as a musical band? No. Would he be involved if Oasis were to reform as an F1 team? Absolutely YES!

Zak is probably one of the best drummers I’ve seen live, saw him with The Who before he joined Oasis and he was phenomenal but he was never right for Oasis. Alan was the man for me, not doubting Chris but he joined Oasis when they were on the down. Alan was there through their prime and was just the heartbeat of the band. Good to see him back tho, even if it is just on social media. Totally agree, I’ve seen the Who with Zak and he’s brilliant just didn’t suit Oasis. I like Alan and thought he was very good but I still prefer Chris’s drumming. I don’t think Alan ever nailed Rock n Roll Star like Chris. Haha I still think the best live drummer for Oasis was his Brother Steve. Oh yes, Chris is the main man. The thing is, while I'd love to see Alan play with Liam, that'd mean that Chris would be excluded and really I don't want that to happen. And I also have to agree with you on Steve. His rendition of Fade Away was absolutely fantastic to listen to.

I find it very interesting how we hardly hear anything from Alan in 20 years now all of a sudden he’s a regular poster on Instagram. I love what he’s doing I just think it’s odd how it seems so sudden but if Liam was to do a Oasis charity gig it would be amazing if he was the drummer.

I don't see why Noel would lie about this. He's never been shy of telling the world when he sacked someone. And Liam's also a liar and a gaslighting manipulative narcissist.... so he could only be saying this to make Noel look bad and himself look good, which he gets off on.... So I would only believe Alan if he ever tells the story.

Noel lies yes. But Liam's general attitude is the definition of a narcissistic pervert. The gaslighting makes it people believe others (in this case Noel) is the real manipulator... I'm not saying Noel's not a liar though.

So I would only believe Alan if he ever tells the story. At the time his brother Steve seemed to suggest Alan was given the news by the manager, and Noel has always had more to do with that side of things than Liam. I remember Dave Sardy called him “basically the co-manager” of Oasis. So while theyve both done bad things at times, on this occasion it wouldn’t surprise me if Noel was behind it.

Liam has a good relationship with his brother Paul, while Noel has no relationship with him. Noel also insulted us fans. So today the problem is Noel, and it is not an opinion but a fact!

I'm not really going to debate this as it is hard to phathom unless you've seen it. Liam has a good relationship with Bonehead. We don't know for the other members. Gem and Chris are in Noel's band as is Mike Rowe who was Oasis' live keyboard player for years. We don't know if Noel speaks with Paul other than Liam saying he doesn't. Noel never insulted ALL fans but did insult some yes. And when you say "So today the problem is Noel" I don't know what you're on about. There is no problem right now. Unless you're talking about an Oasis reunion which Liam can just do if he really wants it.

Unless you're talking about an Oasis reunion which Liam can just do if he really wants it. I don't mean this as a negative for Liam or Noel as I am a huge fan of both, but objectively here is what I think has happened. In the old days, Noel was better at positioning himself in the media than Liam. I don't think it was malicious but he knew how to make him self look best. He would consistently win PR battles with Liam. Then Liam had his twitter melt=downs after Beady Eye Split, which further made it worse for Liam. Since then, Liam has learned how to use twitter to his advantage and he used twitter as a way to close the PR gap and probably has turned the tables a bit. I'm not siding with either but I think Liam has found ways to step up his game in the PR battle. Some are are probably really good way,s and some are probably bad ways but he's turned twitter into a way to help him.
