My club, Birmingham City, have a derby away to West Bromich Albion. We really could do with a win. Blues, Blues, Blues! yas got that win in the early kick off, Heskey the hero scoring twice in a 3-2 away win. Matches kicking off now: Aston Villa v Blackburn Fulham v Everton Man City v Portsmouth Tottenham v Chelsea West Ham v Bolton Wigan v Sunderland Nataka on bench for Bolton and Angel starts his debut up front with Phillips. Setanta are now showing Spurs and Chelsea, should be a good match!

Spurs robbed again by Rob Stiles..... last season, old trafford incident, savage dive, newcastle fa cup quater final and now this.... they said match fixing couldnt happen in germany...but it did. im sick of this twat not only Spurs but the footballing public were robbed of what was going to be a great contest i know he lead with the arm but surely a yellow would have been sufficient especially considering the Essien foul on Davids....

Wigan have signed Leicester's David Connolly on a three-year deal for an initial fee of £2m, rising to £3m if they stay up in the Premiership.
The 28-year-old, who has had spells at Watford, Feyenoord, Wolves, West Ham and Wimbledon, had already scored five goals for the Foxes this term.
"I'm delighted to be in the Premiership at last," the Republic of Ireland player told the Wigan club website.
"Wigan's a forward-thinking and ambitious club, with a great manager."
Latics boss Paul Jewell was equally pleased with the move.
"This signing just proves that patience is a virtue," he told the club website.
"We've had to wait until deadline day itself but I feel we've landed a top-quality forward who will give us something different from what we already have."
Pretty good signing I reckon. Can be a tricky one and should compliment Roberts well.

also Jermaine Jenas and PSV's defender Lee Young-Pyo has joined Tottenham. Yet another midfielder for Jo'l side.
Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Rangers' Georgia international Zurab Khizanishvili. The ex-Dundee defender is a very good player imo.
Another PSV defender, Wilfred Bouma, joined Aston Villa Yesterday. The matches I saw him play in impressed me.
Arsenal have one of my favourite 'keepers on loan in Mart Poom from Sunderland. Now they have a replacment for Lemann if/when he fuckes up.
Charlton Athletic have signed Icelandic attacking midfielder Rurik Gislason from HK Kopavogur.
Middlesbrough striker Joseph-Desire Job has joined Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad on a year-long loan.
and the best transfer was probaly Everton securing the signature of Inter Milan's Andy van der Meyde on a four-year.

0-0 in the utd-pool match Keane's broken a metertarssel bone in his foot I dunno whether there's any truth in it, but some people in the pub were talking about boots with blades on gettin banned in the prem, in favour of just normal studs, cos of injuries e.g. knee ligaments, metatarsals etc. Think it's blag meself like. Apparantley united's youth team are banned from wearing blades though........
