Can't believe the everton game then Yobo killed the game off with that suicide ball. I dunno what it is with him, he's a decent enough player, but now and again he just falls akip or something. Thought we done well in the first half, but one thing's clear, pistone is a joke. And beattie is injured too

West Brom have agreed to sign Nathan Ellington from Wigan in a £3m transfer. Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace said terms had been finalised for the striker, and said he expected the deal to be concluded on Monday morning. The 24-year-old has one year left on his current Wigan contract, but has a clause which means he can speak to any club that bids £3m for his services. "Nathan Ellington is excited about becoming a West Brom player. We agreed all the terms on Friday," said Peace. Ellington netted 67 goals in 146 appearances for the Latics and his partnership with Jason Roberts fired them to the Championship title last season. Robson has previously said he believes the former Bristol Rovers hitman could help to keep his side in the Premiership once again. "Nathan is a great athlete, very strong and quick and has a good goalscoring record," said Robson. FOR FUCKSAKE

Wigan 0-1 Chelsea
I'm so fucking peeved!
Can't believe it!
We played fantastic, whole defence played great, de Zeeuw, Baines, Henchoz, Chimbonda (sp) especially! What a signing.
Midfield was great as well, battled hard and the two strikers Roberts and Camera did well aswell. Could have scored early on. Had loads of chances but just couldn't convert. Would have liked to see McCulloch play a part in the match though.
haha, Mourinho said something about his players shouldn't knock on his door whinging that they aren't playing cus they played crap.
But this isn't the start of the season, theres important matches coming up that we can win if we played like we did today I'm sure of it. Plus we're only 15th which isn't too bad I guess, a few clubs below.
And it was the same score UTD lost last season, so not really that bad a result., but still dissapointing.
But a message has been sent out that Wigan aren't here to make up the numbers but to play and beat teams as well. Ruffled a few feathers today!

I felt a bit sorry for Wigan when Crespo hammered that shot into the top corner.
I can't see Wigan keeping that level of performance up for the rest of the season though but they will probabley need to if they are going to avoid relegation.

If Wigan can play like they did against Chelsea consistantly, hell, they could finish well clear of the relegation zone, still lower table, but I'd guess above 15th
