Lol what's with this fan rivalry? Must people always emulate their idols?

I only quoted you so AKA... What a CLOWN sees your post.... Thanks. Thanks, Dr. Steve Irwin. I only read the first line. He says he doesn't often post here any more, which is obviously great news. Why would I read the rest of the post when the first line delivers everything I'm looking for? Also pretty funny that "experimenting" and "releasing shit music" are apparently interchangeable in his canned meat-addled mind. ¡Happy holidays, hunk! Thanks.

Didn't he quit Oasis by storming off, in a car, without telling anyone and leaving thousands in a field without explanation?

I don't think Noel disregards that he walked out on the band. I think he's hitting at Liam because he's spent so long lambasting Noel for how he walked out. It's him getting back him.

Their gigs around that time were pretty well recieved. Apart from Liam's voice the band were on fire in 2009, they were tight and raw and i think with songs like everybody on the run and if i had a gun in the pipeline a new Oasis album would have been one of their best. On the interview, he calls Liam angry but i think Noel is the angry one these days. To say Liam never cared about us fans is fair enough but not from a man who walked out on the band at least 3 times. He refused to play in europe but his ego just had to play wembley in 2000. He left a field of french people after a fight..

Unfortunately I have to agree, the real oasis died after be here now, then it was great live but they where in danger of becoming the rolling stones, as much as I love the stones thats not what I wanted to happen, if oasis continued would we all be that excited for a new album or just living in hope that the old glory would return? I have to say im much happier now, so much great music from noel and liam to enjoy, I just wish the two vaginas would stop fuckin bitching about each other and get on with it, I understand that to a certian extent they are just playing the game in the media and the exposure probably makes it worthwhile, but just stop dragging it out, make it about the one thing both of them have always said: the music

www.stopcryingyourheartout.co.uk/2019/01/gem-archer-on-working-with-noel.html?m=1Taken from an interview with Gem Archer from the current issue of MOJO. "Before I joined Oasis I only knew Noel in a very slight way. I'd been round his house to watch football, I'd bumped into him at gigs. It does take a long time, like everyone says to get to know Noel. But he's a totally different man now, to what he was then. He's always been self-knowing, but he's even more so now. He doesn't give out that Darth Vader thing he used to. I wouldn't be surprised if he could levitate on the sly (laughs). I've been involved with him musically for a long time. When I joined, one of the new songs was Gas Panic. That opening line "What tongueless ghost of sin crept through my curtains?" (Pause) Whatever it is, I think he sings and writes his way out of it, or through it. He doesn't force things on the listner. He writes about what he's going through as a prism through which others connect. Noel writes great songs but makes even better records - I've seen forever how he's conscious of how big crowds hear songs. The last album wasn't what I expected, but I loved it immediately. The openness of it - to go into the studio with no songs! Noel always has songs. Ever since I've known him, he was playing to the max of his limits. He's not a virtuoso and he'd never want to be. it's not John Squire-esque, it's not John Frusciante, but it's got personality - it's all about the song and the sound. He's always buying gear. He's got the best keyboard collection in England, probably. he uses two fingers, and it's the right two fingers (laughs). These days he's playing less guitar than ever, but that's because he's concentrating on his singing. But I tell you what, man, his right hand is the best there is - his timing is impeccable. Ridiculous. The end of Oasis doesn't sadden me. It's understandable. I had 10 years in that band, and at any point I thought it could end tomorrow, or it could go on 20 years... OK, 20 was a bit optimistic. But that was then. To do it again would sadden all of us. The last tour we did sold out three nights at Wembley, so it was hardly, 'let's put this animal down.' We all kept that plane in the air. And today, when you play Rosario in Argentina, and the kids who were too young to see the band all have Oasis T-shirts and they know all the words... to my mind it was just perfect how it was."

Noel makes me laugh.
He slags off Liam for axing Beady Eye by text - and yet Noel got his manager to get rid of Tony McCaroll, and then make up a story for the press that Tony left after a fight with Liam.
He bangs on about Achtung Baby as if it was some massive change of direction for U2 - but it was still stadium rock.
And as much as I like a fair few songs on Who Built Tge Moon it's not particularly out there or some avant garde genius.

It's two chords back and forth for a couple minutes. It ain't Bohemian Rhapsody. Regarding the latter snippet you quoted, my guess is he was on uppers during HC i.e. Adderall.

I don't understand Noel. Ok, he needs publicity, I get it. But in this case, one or two inflammatory quotes would be enough. He went a bit too far with it in this interview. If he wants Liam to stop talking shit about him, why does he wind him up? Liam is quite restrained (for him) on Twitter now (until the start of promotion for the next album most likely, but who knows). I hoped, maybe they could reduce the amount of shit-throwing comments about each other to a minimum this year, but no such luck. The shitshow must go on

Damn, that's brutal. I thought he liked Songbird. He isn't saying he didn't, just that the song relieved the pressure on him to write more songs for only a week. He's admitting to being under a great deal more pressure when was in Oasis than he's admitted to before. It makes me wonder if leaving Oasis was 50% because of the guitar-ducking and 50% pressure. If he isn't back on the hard stuff, then it's marijuana. Other than the hard stuff, that's what is currently on the radar for US customs.

What was it that Liam said about Noel's kids? I know he's said stuff about Sara (and I know Gene briefly got into some tiff with Anais) but I don't recall Liam ever mentioning or referring to Sonny or Donovan in any tweets?

I vaguely recall Sara or Noel calling out Liam as responsible for his fans directing online abuse towards their kids because of the ongoing animosity between them. Liam tweeted something along the lines of he doesn't give a fuck about it and that his kids get loads of abuse too. Load of bollocks really as anyone with a profile gets targeted by trolls online.
