Listening to Nobody Wants to Be Here again tonight. Magnificent album, just dripping in doom and gothic atmosphere. Wasn't as impressed with the follow-up but just the one great LP is still an impressive feat from such an underappreciated band. What an amazing little track this is:

Wasn't as impressed with the follow-up but just the one great LP is still an impressive feat from such an underappreciated band. What an amazing little track this is: Have you heard the cover by Robert Smith yet? Aye, it's good, but the song was definitely met for James Graham's vocals. He gives it a lot of emotion that's hard for anyone else to replicate.

I completely agree with you, The Escapist. I adore James, not only as one of the Sads, but as a human being as well. He's a great person.

We hope this finds you and yours safe and well in these difficult times.
Today we are releasing IT WON/T BE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME LIVE which is available only via Bandcamp on a pay-what-you-want basis.
We have been talking about recording a live album for a long time. We think this is the best we've been playing as a live band and wanted to document that. With 5 albums of material we felt now was the time.
Over the past few months we were figuring out how to release the album and then covid-19/lockdown/gig cancellations happened. We decided that we would release the album digitally on a pay-what-you-want basis. The reason behind this is that we know that financially it is a worrying time for a lot of people and for ourselves included. We wanted to make sure we could give everyone who likes our band one of our gigs live in their living room as we can't be out in the world playing gigs right now. We wanted to make sure that anyone who wants the album can afford it as well.

Tomorrow night we were supposed to be playing our 2nd night at the famous Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom. We invite everyone to take part in our twitter listening party for the live album hosted by Tim Burgess #timstwitterlisteningparty at 10PM BST. Let's pretend we're all at the gig together. All 5 of us will be taking part and sharing memories from past gigs, playing live and many other things.

I hope everyone is doing ok. I hope this helps.
The title of our last album "It Won/t Be Like This All The Time" has been living with me for the past 3/4 years and right now that sentiment feels stronger than ever. We'll get through this together.
Sending our love to you and all the health services around the world.
James, Andy, Johnny, Brendan & Seb
The Twilight SadI've purchased this live album. Stay safe everyone and together we stand strong.

James and Andy will do an acoustic session in Oran Mor on 5th December and it's going to be live streamed (one off), but it's the same day as Liam's, so I have to pass the Sads. I can't be in different places at same time. store.thetwilightsad.com/
