No, I've never heard of Swervedriver, but I'm gonna definitely check them out. If you say that they're awesome, they're awesome. Thanks for recommendation, durk. My copy of the limited edition double blue vinyl is finally arrived. I'm so happy.

Sads are playing at Rock Werchter in June.
James interview in Amsterdam before their first biggest sold out solo gig outside UK last November:
Can't wait to see them coming back to play in this clogland soon!
Did I ever tell you that I really really love this band?

well mimmihopps i finally saw the Sads tonight! US/Canada tour opener in Philly. waited for years for the right show/venue- as they continued to refine their sound and fill out their band members. good choice it was fucking amazing! totally tight and so musical- spot on and it meant a lot to james and all to kick it off with a good- well-attended show he was very gratified. unfortunately i missed Kathryn as the trains/and subway were late. it was clear across town from where i live outside the city, anyway - i wanted to give you a first hand report. great setlist and they closed with FR songs- which was emotional for all since i believe it as about a year since Scott's death. What a great night!

How were the new songs sound like? I really can't wait to hear all the new songs live in October, especially "Shooting Dennis Hopper Shooting" and "Girl Chewing Gum". What a great, great, great band. Scotland's best! We're happy to be sad!

Wish they will play "Prossy" live again! They didn't play "Cold Days From The Birdhouse" last time when I saw them. It's the song I got into them 12 years ago. October can't come quick enough for me!

I wished they'd have switched things up a bit with this album. Nobody Wants to Be Here... felt like their previous sounds perfected together, which makes this one feel like more of the same, but not as good.
