Sads are back! After the tragic death of their beloved mate Scott Hutchison, Sads are back on track with new music and tour. I just got my tickets for Paradiso via pre-sale. It'll be my 6th time to seeing them. Can't wait to see them again!
It has been a while. We hope you are well.
Today, we are excited to share news of our North American and European tour later this year. We all love playing live and cannot wait to see you at the shows. Tickets go on general sale tomorrow (Thursday 12 July) at 9am but you can book your tickets NOW via the exclusive pre-sale link.
CLICK TO BUY TICKETS
We are also delighted to announce that our new music will be released via our friends Rock Action Records. To be able to say that we're on that record label and to try and give something back for all the good faith they've had in us over the years is wonderful. Mogwai took us on tour early on, introduced us to Robert Smith. They've been a through line for us and we're excited to be a part of that label.
You can hear new track 'I/m Not Here [missing face]' NOW.
Thanks again for all of your support. We will see you soon. The Twilight Sad x

The last album was a modern day classic, the best album of 2014 by some stretch and by far my favourite of theirs. If this one is anywhere close then we’ll be very well treated as fans.

The last album was a modern day classic, the best album of 2014 by some stretch and by far my favourite of theirs. If this one is anywhere close then we’ll be very well treated as fans. "Nobody Wants To Be There and Nobody Wants to Leave" was absolute the best album of 2014 and my favourite album by The Sads as well. I've been listening to them since 2007 and it's amazing to see them growing though all those years. James singing "Keep Yourself Warm" by Rabbits loud out his heart makes me cry. Scott Hutchison's music keeps alive with Sads!

I'm going to pre-order the album and blue vinyl! and hopefully to get the limited edition etched 10 inch "Videogame" at their gig in November. durk, what do you think of "Videogame"? I thought first it's quite "poppy" for Sads, but more I listen to it, more I'm loving it. Great vocal by James again. January can't come quick enough!

January can't come quick enough! i absolutely love it- and pre-ordered the album upon hearing. even better than 'im not here' which is pretty damned good. at first i felt a little...'erm that's the robert smith influence there'... but it works- and works well. i have a feeling this will be their best album- and that's really saying something. James et al have matured well. cannot wait. still have to buy that show ticket tho. i have a wedding in seattle right before that's been occupying all my planning/cash. in short- a great day to be Sad(s;)

I'm seeing them in the same venue where I saw Frightened Rabbit for the last time 2 years ago. James will sing "Keep Yourself Warm" and I won't be able to hold myself to not to cry. Incredible to see that they've grown what they're now. A great day to be Sad(s) indeed and great to being a Sad's fan!
